Electronic locking devices that incorporate a microcomputer or sequencer and lock and unlock by key input have been devised in various ways to maintain high confidentiality of recited codes. Therefore, compared to conventional mechanical locks, there is no need to carry a key with you at all times, and there is no risk of theft due to a third party copying the duplicate key.
Furthermore, it has a higher level of confidentiality compared to combination locks such as safes. However, with conventional electronic locking devices, emphasis is placed on maintaining their confidentiality, so they may be used in situations where there is a third party nearby who does not want the locked/unlocked codes to be known, or where no one is nearby. However, even if a specific person, for example, the owner of a bag, wants to open and close it frequently, he or she must input keys each time, making the operation cumbersome.

Embodiments of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a large bag, for example, for traveling abroad, which is equipped with an electronic locking device of this invention, and an electronic locking device board 3 is installed in the center of the case 1 near the handle 2.
is installed. Reference numeral 4 denotes a key button operation panel, which is a concave portion sunk several mm below the panel surface of the board 3, and is provided with 10 number keys (0 to 9) and 4 function keys. 5 is a control panel cover that opens when opening and closing the bag. The case cap consists of two parts, a latching side cap part 6A and a latching side cap part 6B, like a general case, and the cap part 6A has an unlocking knob 7 that can be pushed in the direction of arrow a with a finger. The cap portion 6B has a hook 8 which, when the unlocking knob 7 is operated as described above, releases the internal locking mechanism and springs up as shown by the dotted line 8' by the elastic force of the spring. 9 is the hook latch. In addition to the above, the cap part of this invention is provided with a holding part operating knob 10 that is movable in the direction of arrow C, and also has an electronic lock that engages with the cap part 6A inside the case 1 and operates the locked/unlockable state by key input. An operating section of the device is provided as shown by dotted line 11. There is an electromagnetic solenoid as an electric drive body, and a group of DC6V dry batteries, for example, is replaceably installed as a power source for driving these. Such an operation unit 11
For example, when unlocking the lock, it is activated when the code to be recited is entered correctly on the operation panel 4, and the lock mechanism of the operation section 11 is unlocked. For example, this can be confirmed by the tone of a small speaker. After confirming this, the user presses the unlocking knob 7 with his finger in the direction of arrow a,
For the first time, the latch 9 of the hook springs up as shown by the dotted line, and the bag can be opened. After opening your bag, turn off the power and turn off unnecessary current. When closing the bag, enter the recited code in the same way as above, confirm this with the beep from the small speaker indicating that the lock is ready, and then manually insert the hook 8 into the cap 6A as shown by the solid line in the figure. The lock is completed. The above is a normal bag opening/closing operation by key input, and in this case, the operation is simply by pushing the unlocking knob 7 of the cap part 6A in the direction a, and there is no need to operate the holding part operating knob 10. This operation knob 10 is one of the main parts of this invention, as it is used to unlock the bag by key input as described above, and then selectively open and close the bag by manual operation as needed. The structure and operation of this device will be explained in detail later, and the overall structure of the electronic locking device will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

The above configuration is the same as the conventional electronic locking device and is well known, and the embodiment of this invention is not limited to the second one. The main part of the invention is provided in the operation part 11 and connects each part of the above 16, 17, 18 and the double dotted line.
This configuration includes an automatic holding mechanism 31 that mechanically connects A 1 to A 3 and a holding mechanism operating end 32 that manually controls this 31. In the mechanism of No. 31, the solenoid No. 16 operates at the same time as the action (AU) that makes No. 17 unlockable in response to the unlock signal (SU) (A 1 ), and its operation is performed, for example, by the elastic force of a spring. energized. By this operation, the automatic holding mechanism 31 applies an action (A 2 ) to the solenoid 17 that releases the connection with the solenoid 16 by the action (A 2 ). As a result, 17 mechanisms will be kept in an unlockable state, and from now on, 17 mechanisms will be kept unlockable.
In this example, the manual operation end 8 can be opened and closed freely by simply operating the unlocking knob 7 shown in FIG. This is the (Am) action. Next, when the situation changes and you want to perform an electronic lock, operate the holding mechanism operating section 32 with the manual (A 3 ) action, and the holding mechanism 31 will be released, and when the locking action (AL) of the solenoid 16 is activated by key input. From then on, connection with 17 is performed, and 17 enters a state of waiting for locking, and locking is completed at 18. This 32 is the operation knob 1 in Figure 1.
It corresponds to 0. The structure of an embodiment of blocks 31 and 32 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. FIG. 3 shows a structure in which the various members constituting the block of the operating section 11 surrounded by the dashed-dotted line frame in FIG. Solenoid 16 is a side view),
FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the solenoid 16, excluding its core and showing its movable piece 40 in dashed lines to illustrate the above-mentioned mechanism. 6 and the tensile force of the spring 42, it is driven vertically in FIG. 3 and in a direction perpendicular to the screen in FIG. 4. 43 is its balance weight, 44 is its solenoid mounting plate, and 45 is its fixing screw. The state shown in the figure is as described above, in which the solenoid 16 is activated by the unlock key input, sucks the movable piece 40, and its tip 40T is removed from the lockshaft restraining hole 34H and the latch shaft through-hole 38. When the key (S) is pressed and the solenoid 16 hears the unlocking ready beep, the current turns OFF, and the spring 42
It is held near the through hole 38H of the latch shaft 38 by the resiliency of the latch shaft 38. In this state, the lock shaft 34 is urged in the direction of arrow b only by the elastic force of the spring 37, and its tip 34T is engaged with the latch 9 of the hook, waiting to be unlocked. This is the holding function of the unlocked state automatic holding mechanism, and in this state, the unlocking knob 7
By simply pressing with your finger in the direction a of the spring 37 against the elastic force of the spring 37, the engagement with 9 is released and the bag can be opened.
To close it, just push the hook latch 9 into the 6H2 hole of the cap 6A. Next, bag 1
The operation when locking by key input is required, such as when going out with the camera, will be explained with reference to FIG. When the operating knob 10 is pushed in the direction of the arrow (C) in FIG.
The latch shaft through hole 38H corresponding to T (the above-described diagonal line) is located at a position 38H'. 40T
The width of 38H is made wider than the width of 38H, and the tip of 40T passes through 38H' with the biasing force of spring 42, and then fits into the locking hole 34H of the lockshaft.
This restricts manual movement of the lock shaft 34 in the direction a, and unlocking it requires actuation of the solenoid 16 by a regular key input. This operation of moving the holding operation knob 10 in the c direction can be performed by the user at any time depending on the situation, and corresponds to block 32 in FIG. 2.

The above is an example in which the electronic locking device of this invention is applied to a bag, but it goes without saying that this invention can be applied not only to bags but also to doors of houses, safes, cars, etc. Furthermore, the mechanisms shown in Figures 3 and 4 are just examples, and they can be constructed using a small DC motor instead of an electromagnetic solenoid. In the case of the above-mentioned door, etc., various mechanisms are conceivable, but these are beyond the scope of this invention. It goes without saying that you can enter.
