The idea is to transport the waste to a designated treatment plant and dispose of it on land.

There is a drawback that containers cannot be processed.

It is lighter than concrete (specific gravity approximately 2.3), and the added weight of the container is relatively small, so it can be handled by conventional no-undling equipment during transportation and the like.

This prevents water from entering the inside and effectively prevents radioactive substances from leaking outside.

Therefore, a plurality of drums filled with radioactive waste solidified with a solidifying material such as cement are placed in this container, and a solidifying material such as aerated concrete or aerated cement glass is filled and solidified into the gap. When transported to a processing plant and disposed of on land, it can be handled satisfactorily using conventional handling equipment, transportation costs can be kept low, it is economical, and it is resistant to freezing and thawing, making it highly durable. Furthermore, it has features such as no leakage of radioactive substances.
