[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is a screen that is used for printing woven fabrics such as kimono, and which expresses an appropriate pattern as a mesh area formed by a photographic method on a screen made of gauze or other material coated with a photosensitive material. This is a photographic original plate for textile printing, whose structure is such that the screen is completely buried in the photosensitive material coating, and its thickness and structural strength are several times greater than that of conventional ones. It makes the pattern of the photo mold less likely to be damaged, making it easier to make precise markings, and increasing the number of times the photo mold itself can be used. Also, when using the photo mold, it is possible to print with thick colored glue, making it possible to print clearly. This invention relates to a new photographic original plate that facilitates patterning.

The photographic mold used for screen printing is a screen made of silk, nylon thread, polyester thread, or stainless steel wire, and is coated with photo-insoluble or photo-solubilizable photosensitive resin, glue, polyvinyl alcohol, etc. A photosensitive material solution made by mixing dichromate with a water-soluble polymer is coated on a photographic original plate, which is then dried in a dark room to form a film of the photosensitive material over the entire surface of the screen. Original photographs with various patterns drawn or printed on them are layered and exposed to light, and only the shaded or exposed areas of the film are accurately expressed as open mesh areas, and colored paste for textile printing is created. This is a type of screen printing in which a pattern exactly like the original photograph can be imprinted onto a material to be printed, such as silk, by passing through the open mesh area.
Conventional original plates for photographic molds do not have a thick coating of photosensitive material on the screen, partly because when applying the photosensitive material liquid to the screen, the liquid is thick and difficult to get on the screen. As shown by the chain line, the film was thin and covered only on one side of the screen. Therefore, such thin photosensitive material coatings inevitably have low structural strength, so the molds on which the patterns are printed are likely to be damaged or crumble, and each mold can only be used for a short period of time. It was hot. The present invention eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional ones, such as improving such original plates to have greater structural strength so that the molds on which the patterns are printed are less likely to be damaged, making it easier to obtain precise markings, and being economical as they can be used many times. and new profits.

The present invention will be explained based on the drawings showing its embodiments. As shown in Figs. Screen 1 consisting of a net of
The screen 1 is completely buried in the coating 2 of the photosensitive material by repeating the application and drying of a diazo resin, which is a photo-insolubilized type of photosensitive material and becomes water-insoluble by hardening the exposed portion when exposed to light. This is a photographic original plate 3 for screen textile printing which is structured to be embedded in the screen.

When such an original plate 3 is exposed to light with a negative film having a suitable pattern applied thereto, washed with water, and developed, the film 2 of the photosensitive material other than the patterned portions that has been exposed and has become water-insoluble remains. On the other hand, the photosensitive material coating on the patterned portions that are shielded from light is dissolved in water and removed, resulting in a photographic mold 4 for screen printing in which a predetermined pattern is expressed as a mesh portion 5 with openings as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. However, as described above, the photographic original plate 3 in this case has a structure in which the screen 1 is completely buried in the photosensitive material coating 2 compared to the conventional one, and the photosensitive material coating 2 is much deeper. Since it is thicker and has greater structural strength, the photosensitive material coating 2 is less likely to be damaged during the operation of printing a pattern to obtain a photographic mold and the operation of printing silk cloth or the like using the photographic mold. Therefore, the pattern can be accurately expressed and the pattern does not easily collapse, making it easy to print precise patterns, while the photo mold can be used for a much greater number of times, making it an economical photo mold. . Furthermore, as is clear from FIG. 4, since the photosensitive material coating 2 is thick, when the colored glue such as the skege is pushed onto the 2 surfaces of the coating, the thick layer of colored glue gets into the vacated pattern area 5. As a result, a thick layer of colored paste is placed on the object to be printed, resulting in a bright and durable print.

Furthermore, the photographic mold made from this master plate has coating 2.
Because it is thick, it is durable and strong, so it can be used not only for imprinting on woven fabrics such as silk cloth, but also for precision patterning on a wide range of furniture, building materials, other decorative materials, and cosmetic materials. Therefore, the photographic mold original plate of the present invention will greatly contribute to the development of new uses for screen photographic molds.

In the above embodiments, a photo-insolubilized diazo resin is used as the photosensitive material, but this is a dichromic acid colloid made by mixing dichromate with polyvinyl alcohol, egg white, casein, gum arabic, etc. It goes without saying that it may be replaced with other photosensitive resins that harden and become solvent-insoluble when exposed to light, or with photo-solubilized photosensitive resins that can be printed with patterns using positive originals.
