If the extension is busy and the target extension cannot be connected, the caller is forcibly connected to a third party other than the target extension, and from the point of view of the caller, the caller is forced to make a useless call. However, from the perspective of the third party on the called side, the result is that the caller is forced to carry out unnecessary telephone calls. Incidentally, as related to this kind of conventional products, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 5
9-140762 is mentioned.

This allows the caller to connect to the desired second or third extension by making additional dials to other extension numbers accommodated by the private branch exchange without requiring the caller to call again.
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面を参照して説明する。 Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

This content is stored in the main storage device 2 via the central processing unit 5 as a dial-in incoming call connection. ,PBR
When gC5 is captured, b is formed as the called extension is ready to receive and a dial tone is sent from the tone generator 6 to the calling party. When the calling party dials the number of the called extension subscriber 9 of the private branch exchange, the tone generator 6 is released and the called dialed number is received at the PBREC 5;
It is stored in the main storage device 3 via the central processing unit 6.

The guidance device 7 includes, for example, information such as "Dial again to receive an air extension number," and guides the caller to this.

Then, if the called party is empty, the PBREC 5 is opened for the first time and the called party is called. At this time, if the called party is busy, conventionally a 6th party connection is made as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 2, but in this embodiment, the PBREC5
is connected as is (a), and in the same way as described above, connection d is made to the guide device 8 this time. For example, the guide device λ8 includes [
When the corresponding extension is busy, a message to the effect that if necessary, dial the number of another extension or an information desk such as 19 is recorded and the caller is informed of this. Based on this guide information, the caller can connect to the second extension or department desired by the caller by dialing again while the corresponding called extension is busy.

Ba,! 3- Even if you do not make a call, the system continues to dial the called extension information and connects you to the desired called extension, allowing you to provide better service to the caller on the station side, as well as providing better service to the caller on the called side's premises. In addition, when the switching machine cannot connect to the first intended called extension, the need for a third party to take over the call is reduced, and efficient service can be provided.
