係にあつた。 Conventionally, each dot printing element of the printer described above is driven by a driving electromagnet that is engaged with each other to perform a printing operation, but after printing, each dot printing element is formed so that it returns to its previous position by a return spring. ing. Therefore, the above-mentioned printing operation is performed against the return spring, resulting in the inconvenience of consuming a large amount of power. Generally, in order to improve the printing speed of a printer, a method is sought to increase the capacity of the drive electromagnet, but in this case, the effect will be small unless the return spring is also made stronger; There was a circular correlation in that the capacity of the drive electromagnet had to be increased accordingly.

である。 Therefore, this invention was proposed to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages, and is an impact type printing device in which dot printing elements made of thin plates laminated in the thickness direction are driven by driving electromagnets engaged with each dot printing element to perform printing. In the printer, the above-mentioned dot printing element is provided with an engaging part of the armature exclusively for return and an engaging part of the armature exclusively for forward movement, and the engaging part of the armature exclusively for returning is connected to each dot. To provide a dot matrix printer, which is provided at the same distance from the end of a printing element, and is characterized in that the return operation of a plurality of dot printing elements after printing is performed collectively using a return electromagnet. It is something that I try to do.

This dot printing element 1 is provided with an engaging portion 2 projecting in the board width direction, and is engaged with an end of a movable piece 4 of a driving electromagnet 3. Then, when the electromagnet 3 is excited and attracts the movable piece 4 to the right in the figure, the dot printing element 1 also moves to the right in the figure, and the printing section 5 provided at the front end makes dots on the printing paper. become. By the way, this dot printing element 1 is provided with front and rear end parts 6, 6 guided by guide bodies 9, 9, and the intermediate part 7 has a main axis A passing through the center of the plate width of the front and rear end parts 6, 6.
However, since the dot printing element 1 is formed so as to be biased toward one side (upward in FIG. 1), the required number of sheets is
When laminated in the thickness direction as shown in the figure, a slit 13 is formed along the center line in the dot printing element groups 1, 1, . . . . Then, as shown in FIG.
When the electromagnet 10 is excited and the movable piece 11 is attracted, the engaging portion 12 of the movable piece 11 engages the engaging portions 8, 8... of the dot printing elements 1, 1...

are formed so that they can be returned all at once to the regular position between printing operations.

型化を可能にするのである。 Since the dot matrix printer according to the present invention is constructed as described above, the driving electromagnet of each dot printing element does not need to operate while resisting the spring provided for return, and the above-mentioned It becomes possible to break the circular correlation between the drive electromagnet capacity and the strength of the return spring. Therefore, the operating current of each driving electromagnet is reduced due to the absence of the return spring, and not only can the driving electromagnet be significantly downsized, but its operating speed is significantly improved. Furthermore, the operating current of the drive electromagnet and the operating current of the return electromagnet are time-shifted, which reduces the peak value of the current, making it possible to reduce the capacity of the electromagnetic device.
