に丸めた無端ベルトを、間隔を隔てて設けた前後
2個のドラムのところで偏平に展開して、両ドラ
ムの間に掛け回し、その内部に被搬送物を包み込
み、上記複数の支持装置内を通過させることによ
り、被搬送物を搬送するようにしたパイプコンベ
ヤにおいて、その復路に、 (a) コンベヤの往路終点より折り返して偏平
に展開した復路ベルトの両側端を上方に丸めてパ
イプ状にする、丸め装置と、 (b) ベルトの進行方向に所定間隔を隔てて並
設され、パイプ状復路ベルトの外周面に、切線方
向に対して同方向に傾斜して当接し、かつ前記復
路ベルトを、パイプ状を保持したまま、その重合
側端が上方に来るように、ベルトの長手方向の軸
線まわりに次第に180度捩る捩り装置と、 (c) パイプ状復路ベルトの上方に位置する重
合側端を強制的に一定角度開口する開口装置と、 (d) 該開口装置の直上に設置され、被搬送物
を前記復路ベルトの開口に供給する被搬送物供給
装置と、 (e) 開口した復路ベルトの両側端を上方に丸
めてパイプ状にする丸め装置と、 (f) 被搬送物を包み込んだパイプ状復路ベル
トを、所定距離保形通過させる、コンベヤ往路に

直角の方向における捩りローラの傾斜角度を調節
しうる捩りローラ装置を取付けたことを特徴とす
