Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain a device to be used conveniently by a user by providing two different types of operating surfaces to the case of a keyboard device. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard main body (key unit) 1 in the keyboard device is fitted in the upper recessed part of the device case 2, and both front and back surfaces different in key array. Moreover, a rotating mechanism part 3 is disposed in the upper recessed part of the device case 2 to invert the key unit part 1, whereby both the front and back surfaces can be appropriately selected. A switch 4 is installed to discriminate which operating surface is operable. Thus the keyboard with a unique array in accordance with the usage and input format can be obtained without limiting to one type, and therefore complicated programs can be reduced.

ても操作性が悪化する欠点があり、更に用途ごとにそれ
に合ったキーボードを入れ替えて使用するにしてもその
都度電源を切断しキーボードを入れ替えなければならず

所に嵌着せしめる。これによシキーユニット部lはたと
えば第2図のキー配列から第3図のキー配列へ操作面を
入れ替えることができる。このとき一方のストッパ部5
の近傍に操作面を識別するスイッチ4が設けられている
ので簡単に選択された操作面を知ることができる。
