The equipment for packaging articles with such plastic film generally includes an article feeding device, a film feeding device, a former that folds the film into a cylindrical shape, and a film in which the articles have been wrapped by cutting and welding to separate each article. The vI consists of a sealing device for wrapping, a heat tunnel that heat-shrinks the wrapping film, etc.

Therefore, in this type of device, the film is opened while being folded into a cylindrical shape, and an article is inserted into the opening. In some cases, it may be necessary to do so. Finally, the joints are welded together or left as they are and heat-shrinked to make them stick together.

In any case, if the films are combined on the sides, the packaging will not be good in terms of appearance, so it is desirable to have the films combined on the bottom side, especially for articles where the appearance of the package is important.・ Conventionally, this type of device that wraps films by aligning them on the bottom surface wraps the film (not two films) supplied from the front of the former into a former, wraps it in a cylindrical shape, and then wraps the film in a cylindrical shape on the left and right sides of the bottom surface. A device is known in which a trochanter guides the end of the film inward to hold the seam, and when sealing is performed, the seam is sealed with a sealing device.

In addition, in this type of device, the article feeding device has claws provided on the belt at equal intervals to sequentially feed the articles into the former at regular intervals, and the articles wrapped in the film that are removed from the former are The film is placed on a transport belt installed at the bottom of this film and rotates continuously, and the film is fed out from the film feeding device by following the movement of the transport belt. A method is known in which the film is pressed against a transfer belt by the weight of the wrapped article, and a method is known in which the film is forcibly brought into contact with the article wrapped in the film with a separately provided pressure belt. Furthermore, there are also known methods and devices for dispensing articles wrapped in a film by providing a vacuum mechanism for sucking the film onto a belt for transporting the film.

However, in these conventional devices, the film is folded into a cylindrical shape using a former, an article is inserted into the former, and the lower end of the film is guided and held inward by the left and right trochanters, which upsets the balance between the left and right trochanters. As a result, the seam of the lower film may shift laterally, making the package look unsightly, and when sealing, the seam may shift from the sealing device, resulting in an incomplete seal.

In addition, in these devices, the product wrapped in film that is removed from the former is placed on a transport belt that is installed at the bottom and rotates continuously, and the film is fed out from the film supply device by the transport belt. It has an A mechanism that follows the movement and continuously feeds out, so if you fail to place the item,
This has the disadvantage that there are areas that are not wrapped by the sealing device in the next process, and the film is wasted accordingly. Furthermore, since the sealing device seals at regular intervals, the articles must be supplied at regular intervals, and if the size of the article is irregular, it cannot be packaged appropriately.

Furthermore, since the film feeding mechanism presses the film against the belt due to the weight of the product, it is not possible to smoothly feed the film if the product is light. Proposals have also been made for a feeding device or a device for feeding the film by providing a pressure belt separately, but all of these have the disadvantage that the equipment is complicated and expensive, and are not a good idea.

As a result of repeated research to solve these shortcomings, the present inventor first developed a product packaging device in which the film is joined on the bottom surface so that the seam of the film does not shift laterally.
Furthermore, even if the supply of goods is irregular, the film can be fed out from the supply device in accordance with the supply of goods, and even if the size of the goods is irregular, it can be wrapped appropriately. Invented by the present applicant and filed a patent application in 1982-19
No. 8994 (if filed on September 21, 1982).

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a structure in which a former is provided at the rear of a sealing device for welding and welding a plastic film laterally in a cylindrical shape, and a former is provided in the front and back through the cylinder.
In an article packaging device, in which a closing piece for aligning both side edges of a film with the lower ends of both side plates of a former is arranged facing inward, a delivery edge of the bi-folded film is provided directly above the former in parallel with the former, 7↑- At the entrance of the former, there is an angle that gradually escapes forward from the upper end of both side plates to the inner end of the closing piece, and the angle allows the film to be reversed from the outside to the inside of the former and opened in reverse. A transfer belt for forming and transporting the film to the sealing device is inserted into the former from the entrance and supported in a cantilevered manner at the rear end. Between the tip of the transfer belt and the sealing device are a pressure roller and a drive for sandwiching and feeding out the film. The gist of this is that the rollers are provided vertically facing each other, and the sealing device is activated at the same time as the article passes through the sealing device.

Since the packaging apparatus according to the present invention is as described above, in order to set the film f in the open state, the roll film F is placed in the supply device e50 with its bent edge 59 facing opposite to the flow direction of the article 32. I'll put it on. Before the packaging device is delivered, the end of the bifold film f pulled out from the roll film F is opened and placed over the front end of 7↑-734 and pushed into the inlet 56 thereof. Then, since the two-folded films x and f are opened in reverse in the four 734, both ends fa and l of the film f are inserted under the insulating plate 58 of the transfer belt 33 and placed on the upper surface of the closing pieces 54a and 54b. In this state, the leading end of the film r is pulled out from the front end of the 7-oh 734 until it passes through the sealing device 37.

When the film f is set in this way, the feed green E of the guide bar 45 is located at the center of the width of the 7-o 734 as shown in FIG. The crease 59 is positioned at the center of the width of the former 34. Also, film r is 70734 inlet 5
The slanted opening edges 52 and 53 of the film f are turned back to a predetermined forward direction and have a stable engagement relationship with the openings), i 52 and 53, so that the shape of the isosceles triangle of the film f does not deform. The film f is prevented from shifting to the left or right, and the opening shape of the film is regulated to a normal shape.

Next, when the apparatus is operated, the article 32 placed on the supply belt 31 is transferred to the transfer belt 33, placed thereon and entered into the film f opened by the former 34, and transferred from the transfer belt 33 to the press roller 35. Since it passes through the sealing device 37, the sealing device is actuated at the same time as passing through, and the film f is fused and welded to form a sealing portion 60 at the tip of the film f as shown in FIG. Therefore, only the first article ends up being a mere sink and is not sealed (the front end is open), but from the next time on, the article 32 will be transferred to the transfer belt 3.
When the film f is supported by the sealing part 60 from 3, the film f is fed out by the driving roller 36 and the pressing roller 35, and at the same time as it passes through the sealing device 37, the rear side is also sealed. It becomes 41.

Although the lower surface of this article 41 is simply joined with a film, the joined surface of the film is welded by the heat shrinkage of the channel 42, so that the final packaged article is airtight as a packaging form. There are no particular problems with the top, and the bottom is not welded, so it is convenient to open. However, a welding device on the lower side may be provided to weld the films together in an interlocking or interlocking manner.

In order to feed out the film r, as described above, when the article 32 is moved to and supported by the sealing part 60, the drive roller 36 is driven to rotate by detection by the phototube 62, and the film is fed out while being pressed by the pressure roller 35, so that the article 32 is sealed. Move towards device 37. Therefore, the feeding of the film r is stopped until the article 32 is supported by the seal portion 60 at the tip of the film r.

When the article 32 passes through the sealing device 37, the sealing device 37 is activated by detection by the phototube 63. Therefore, the film r is not unrolled excessively, and no matter how long the interval between the articles is, the sealing device 37 will not idle. Even if there are no containers and the items are crowded, seals can be sealed as long as there is a small gap between them. Moreover, even if the length of the article is large or small, it will be sealed with appropriate dimensions regardless of the size.

1! ]lJJ Due to the slow movement, many articles can be held on the supply belt 31 because the articles stay on it for a long time.
When the article is moved to , since the speed of the transfer belt 33 is high, the article is quickly carried to the leading end of the film f, and the article is sealed as soon as it passes through the sealing device 37. Therefore, even if the articles are arranged irregularly or in a cramped and miscellaneous manner on the supply belt 31, the preceding articles will take precedence and run far away from the following articles, so there will be no hindrance to the operation of the sealing device 37. Does not occur.

(2) According to the supply of goods, the necessary amount of film is drawn out, and packaging is performed by using just the right amount of film. Therefore, the economical efficiency of using the film can be improved. Furthermore, even if the size of the product is irregular, such as vegetables or fruits, all the products can be appropriately packaged, which is very convenient. Further, it is not necessary to supply the articles at regular intervals in terms of time or distance, and there is no problem in operation as long as the articles are supplied to the transfer belt at intervals greater than a certain degree, which is convenient for work.
