[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an anti-snow accretion device for electric wires, particularly covered electric wires.

Generally, when snow falls on the upper surface of a covered wire, the snow rotates downward along the outer circumference of the wire and adheres to the lower surface of the wire. If this phenomenon is repeated, the snow adhering to the lower surface of the wire will grow and increase, eventually turning into a snowdrift that will damage the wire and the supports.

従来、このような着雪を防止する手段として

Conventionally, as a means to prevent such snow accumulation, as shown in FIG. A continuous protrusion 12 is provided on the surface, and the protrusion 12 prevents snow from rotating downward from the upper surface of the electric wire, and causes the snow to fall before it grows and develops into a pipe. What has been done is known.

However, since this type of electric wire has protrusions that raise the coating layer, it cannot be applied to existing electric wires, and the protrusions may become spiral-shaped due to twisting of the wire during installation. There is a risk that it will be erected.

When the protruding portion is in a spiral shape, snow tends to rotate downward along the protruding portion, and easily develops into a snow pipe.

On the other hand, after installation, on both sides of the outer circumference of the electric wire,
A method of attaching a linear body (protrusion) in a straight line along the longitudinal direction of the electric wire may also be considered, but the work involves positioning and attaching the linear body in a straight line along the longitudinal direction of the electric wire. Not only does this have the disadvantage that it becomes troublesome, but the linear bodies attached to both sides of the wire are not placed at symmetrical positions in the cross section of the wire, and there is a risk that their positions may be shifted from each other. In such a case, the amount of snow that adheres to each side of the wire will be different, the wire will become twisted, and the wire body will appear to be wrapped in a spiral around the wire, which may reduce the snow accumulation prevention effect. be.

However, according to the snow prevention device for electric wires of the present invention, there are a plurality of open ring-shaped parts for attaching electric wires, each of which has a thin-walled part for bending, and two ring-shaped parts that connect the ring-shaped parts to each other. When the ring-shaped portion is attached to the electric wire, the two elongated connecting portions are shifted left and right at approximately the same angle from the thin-walled portion for bending in the cross section of the wire. Therefore, by simply positioning the thin bending portion of the ring-shaped portion at the center of the upper or lower surface of the wire, the two elongated connecting portions can be connected in a symmetrical manner in the cross section of the wire. This prevents the elongated connecting portion from being attached to the electric wire in a spiral manner, and preventing the elongated connecting portion from being placed at different positions on the left and right sides of the electric wire. Therefore, the snow on the upper part of the electric wire is prevented from moving to the lower surface by the elongated connecting part, and it falls under its own weight before it develops into a tube of snow, thereby making it possible to reliably and easily prevent an increase in the accumulation of snow on the electric wire. Moreover, the present invention can be applied to both newly installed and existing electric wires.
