内視鏡装置に於いて、 観察部位を撮像する固体撮像素子を具備した撮
像手段と、 前記撮像手段によつて得られる電気信号に基づ
いて映像信号を出力する映像信号処理手段と、 前記映像信号をサンプリング検出する映像信号
検出手段と、 前記固体撮像素子の受光面に固体撮像素子の数
と対応して複数個配設され、該各固体撮像素子の
受光量を調整可能な調光素子と、 前記映像信号検出手段からの出力信号によつて
調光素子を駆動制御する調光素子駆動手段とから
構成され、 前記映像信号を検出手段によつて得られるサン
プリング時の映像信号のレベルが所定レベル以上
の場合には、該当する固体撮像素子からの映像信
号のレベルが所定値以下となるように調光素子を
選択して該固体撮像素子の受光量を調整すること
