Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the total efficiency of a power generating device and reduce an operation noise, by reducing the heat generated from a generator to the steam flowing in an outside piping and incorporating a power generating device in a piping. CONSTITUTION:A steam turbine casing 11 is connected to a piping 25, and a steam turbine rotor 10 is accommodated in the casing 11. A generator including a rotor 12 and a stator 13 is connected to the low pressure side of the steam turbine. An outside piping 15 arranged around a generator frame 14 surrounding the stator 13 with a given space, and is connected at its one end to the casing 11. The power generating device comprising the steam turbine and the generator is supported through supports 26 to the outside piping 15, and is installed between both the pipings 25 is such a manner as to be incorporated in the outside piping 15. The heat generated in association with the operation of the generator is reduced to the steam flowing along the outer periphery of the generator frame 14 and inside the generator.

Figure 2 shows a schematic diagram of a power generation device that conventionally generates electricity using a 7' (iF) 7' (iF) power generation system for steel, chemical plants, etc.
2 and 3, 1 is a steam turbine rotor, 2 is a steam turbine casing, and the steam turbine is installed perpendicular to the pipe 6. A power generator and a generator 3 are connected via a coupling 4 provided on the shaft of the steam turbine rotor. The generator 3 consists of a stator and a rotor, and the generator 3 may be reduced in speed by a gear (not shown) and coupled together.

In addition, since this type of power generation device is installed in the middle of the pipe 6,
Due to the installation area, a smaller size is desired, and the high-speed rotation and rotation of the generator's cooling fan generates noise, but the installation lid is located in the middle of the piping, making it difficult to soundproof.

Furthermore, in the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, the generator protrudes perpendicularly to the piping 6, which tends to cause vibrations, so it is necessary to prevent the piping 6 from being photographed.
Also, there was a drawback that the launcher [Aircraft 3] had to be strongly supported.

According to the present invention, the steam turbine connected to the piping is placed on the low-pressure side of the steam turbine, and the generator is placed on the outer diameter side of the generator. One end is connected to the steam turbine casing base, and the other end is connected to the piping (I11 piping and power). When a generator is built into the outside piping, the steam passing through the steam turbine is connected to the outside piping. By circulating the heat generated from the generator in the outer piping and reducing the steam flowing in the outer piping, the efficiency of the entire equipment is improved and the noise of the equipment is reduced. This reduces the amount of force required and simplifies the support structure.

Steam flows in from the high pressure side and drives the steam turbine rotor.
Most of the fluid flows in the direction along the outer diameter side of the generator frame 14 and flows toward the low pressure side. Some of the steam flows from the high-pressure side through the inside of the generator and passes through the gap between the stator and rotor to the low-pressure side.

According to the present invention, the heat generated due to the operation of the generator is
It is reduced to steam that circulates around the outer circumference of the generator frame 14 and inside the generator. Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the steam turbine and generator are built into the piping, noise can be reduced as is, but the noise can be further reduced by wrapping the outside of the piping with heat insulating material or soundproofing material. can be reduced.
