Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cockroach extermination agent having excellent extermination effect at a low cost, by using boric acid as an insecticidal component, starch as a diluent component and rice bran and honey as attracting components. CONSTITUTION:The objective cockroach extermination agent contains 15-35(wt)% boric acid, 20-40% starch (preferably potato starch), 10-20% rice bran and 3-25% honey (preferably refined molasses). It may be added with 0.5-3% chrysalis powder, 0.5-3% fish meal and 3-25% brewery waste. The agent is produced by mixing the components, adding a proper amount of water to the mixture and forming to a desired shape after kneading.
