Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently remove air bubbles in a film forming process of a viscous liquid, by drawing out the viscous liquid in a liquid sump. by a main roll to form a film which is, in turn, pressed by a press roll. CONSTITUTION:In a defoaming apparatus adapted to a synthetic leather manufacturing apparatus, a press roll 1, a main roll 2 and a stripping roll 3 are respectively rotated synchronously to a counterclockwise direction. At this time, the viscous liquid in a liquid sump 5 is adhered to the outer periphery of the main roll 2 to be led out as a film 4a and, at the same time, the film 4a is pressed by the outer peripheral surface of the press roll 1 rotating to the same direction as the main roll 2 to perform the collapsing of air bubbles and the setting of a film thickness. Further, film 4a is exposed to the atmosphere and depassed until it reaches the stripping roll 3 and transferred to the outer peripheral surface of the stripping roll 3 and subsequently transferred to cloth 7 through a doctor knife 6.

In order to achieve the above object, the viscous liquid defoaming device of the present invention includes a liquid reservoir for storing the viscous liquid, and a main roll that causes the viscous liquid in the liquid reservoir to adhere to the outer circumferential surface and rotate to lead it to a film-like body. and a pressure roll that presses the film-like body while rotating in a direction opposite to the main roll.

In other words, as mentioned above, natural deaeration is performed on the outer circumferential surface of the main roll by drawing out the viscous liquid in the liquid reservoir into a film-like body using the main roll, and also by applying pressure that rotates in the opposite direction to the main roll. Further deaeration is achieved by crushing the air bubbles in the viscous liquid with a pressure roll, thereby making it possible to continuously and efficiently remove the air bubbles contained in the viscous liquid.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a synthetic leather manufacturing apparatus. In the figure, 1 is a pressure roll, 2 is a main roll, and 3 is a stripping roll, all of which are arranged so that their axes are horizontal. The pressure roll 1 faces the main roll 2 in parallel with a predetermined gap between its outer periphery and the side, so that the viscous liquid 4 is kept between the pressure roll 1 and the main roll 2.
A liquid reservoir 5 is formed. The stripping roll 3 is arranged parallel to the bottom of the main roll 2.
is in line contact with the outer periphery of the The tip of a doctor knife 6 is placed against the outer periphery of the stripping roll 3, and the cloth 7 is moved under the stripping roll 3 in the direction of arrow A.

In the above configuration, pressure roll 1. The main roll 2 and the stripping roll 3 each rotate synchronously in the direction of the half-hour hand. At this time, the viscous liquid 4 in the liquid reservoir 5 adheres to the outer periphery of the main roll 2 and is drawn out as a film-like body 4a. The shaped body 4a is pressurized,
The air bubbles contained in the film-like body 4a are crushed and the thickness of the film-like body 4a is set. Membrane-like body 4a in which air bubbles are crushed
Until it reaches the stripping roll 3, it is further degassed by being exposed to the atmosphere, that is, by natural diffusion. When it reaches the stripping roll 3, it is transferred from the outer circumferential surface of the main roll 2 to the outer circumferential surface of the stripping roll 3, and is then peeled off from the stripping roll 3 by the doctor knife 6, and the film immediately below it is transferred in the direction of arrow A. The synthetic leather is continuously placed on a cloth 7 that moves at a constant speed and becomes synthetic leather.

The size of the bubbles crushed by the pressure roll 1 is determined by a preset gap between the pressure roll 1 and the main roll 2. That is, the smaller the gap is, the more finely the crushing can be performed. Furthermore, by adjusting the diameter of the main roll 2, the degassing time due to natural diffusion performed on its outer peripheral surface can be changed.

That is, in the embodiment described above, the membrane 4a is pressed by the pressure roll 1 at the same time as the main roll 2 takes out the membrane 4a, but in this embodiment, the liquid reservoir 5
is formed only on the main roll 2, and the film-like body 4a is first drawn out by the main roll 2, and then the drawn-out film-like body 4a is pressurized by the pressure roll 1 to crush air bubbles and form the film-like body. I am trying to set the thickness. The rest is the same as the previous embodiment.

As described above, according to the present invention, the viscous liquid in the liquid reservoir is drawn out into a film-like body by the main roll and pressurized by the pressure roll to crush air bubbles in the viscous liquid, and the film-like body is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main roll. Since deaeration is performed by the body's natural release, air bubbles contained in the viscous liquid can be removed continuously and efficiently.
