Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a laminated sheet without being affected by the surface condition of a mirror belt by a method wherein a decorative paper, whose outside is a resin layer having resistance to heat on the surface thereof, and paper, impregnated with cured continuous synthetic resin, are heated through a thermosetting resin to laminate them continuously. CONSTITUTION:Decorative paper 4 is made by a method wherein desired patterns 2 are applied on the surface of raw paper 1 for printing and a resin layer 3, having resistance to heat, is formed further on the surface of the patterns. The continuous decorative paper 4 and paper 5, impregnated with cured continuous synthetic resin, are laminated continuously by a heating and pressing device 6 through thermosetting resin 7 under a condition that the surface, formed with the resin layer 3, is faced to the outside. The resin layer 3 on the surface of the decorative paper is cured perfectly when the resin layer is laminated with the synthetic resin impregnated paper, therefore, the surface configuration of a mirror belt will never be transferred on the surface of the resin layer 3 even if the mirror belt or the like is contacted therewith upon laminating. On the other hand, the thermosetting resin, coated by heating and pressing, impregnates into the decorative paper and is cured subsequently, therefore, the decorative paper and the synthetic resin impregnated paper may be integrated strongly and closely.

(Prior art) In order to continuously produce a decorative sheet whose surface layer is a resin for heat-pressure molding such as melamine resin or diallyl phthalate resin, a continuous decorative paper impregnated with the resin for molding is required. Conventionally, the material is sandwiched between upper and lower mirror-finished belts and continuously heated and pressurized.

However, in this method, when the uncured resin in the impregnated paper is thermally cured, the surface condition of the mirror belt is transferred to the resin layered on the surface of the decorative sheet, so the surface condition of the mirror belt is If there is a defect such as a scratch, the defect is directly reproduced on the surface of the decorative sheet, requiring a great deal of effort to maintain and manage the mirror belt.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention solves the drawbacks of the prior art as described above, and manufactures a laminated sheet mainly made of synthetic resin-impregnated paper without being affected by the surface condition of the mirror belt. This is an attempt to provide a method.

(Function) The heat-resistant resin layer on the surface of the decorative paper is completely cured when it is laminated with the synthetic resin-impregnated paper, so even if a mirror belt, etc. comes into contact with it during lamination, the mirror belt, etc. will not touch the surface of the resin layer. There is no transfer of surface shape. Further, the thermosetting resin applied by heating and pressing permeates into the decorative paper and then hardens, so that the decorative paper and the synthetic resin-impregnated paper are tightly integrated into one.

(Example) A wood grain pattern was applied to the surface of a rolled base paper weighing 3017/TIl using nitrocellulose ink, and then 30y/Trt of acrylic melamine resin was applied to the surface.
A decorative paper was obtained by applying the coating under dry conditions and curing it for 150'030 seconds. When the heat resistance of this acrylic melamine resin layer was examined, no change was observed even after 7JO heat pressurization at 200'C.
