Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a molded product and generation of darkness due to a solbent such as kerosene or the like by a method wherein an urethane series resin film is transferred on olefin series resin molded product by a protection film and the film is molded by extrusion. CONSTITUTION:A protection film 1, having resistance to heat and elasticity, is supplied to a line and urethane series resin 8 is coated thereon to form an urethane series resin film 9 and is baked in a baking furnace 4, thereafter, is supplied to an extrusion molding mold 5. On the other hand, a decorative film 2 is supplied to the extrusion molding machine 5 and olefin series resin 11 is supplied from an extruding machine 10 to effect extrusion molding. In this case, the outer surface of a molded product is coated by a protection film 1 so that the urethane series resin film 9 is contacted with the olefin series resin 11 and the extrusion molding is effected so that the decorative film 2 is embedded into the inside of the olefin series resin 11. The urethane series resin film 9 is transferred on the surface of the molded product 6, therefore, darkness due to a solvent such as kerosene or the like and a deformation in the case of the extrusion molding will never be generated.

However, in moldings manufactured by such conventional methods, the olefin resin is exposed on the surface, so when the car is shipped, it is coated with a rust preventive agent, and before it is delivered to the user, it is sprayed with a solvent such as kerosene. When removed, the surface of the molding becomes cloudy and loses its luster. In addition, during extrusion molding, the molded product becomes starch syrup-like and tends to sag at the exit of the extrusion mold, making it difficult to maintain the shape.

In the molding manufacturing method of the present invention, a protective film having a urethane resin coating and a molten olefin resin are supplied to an extrusion mold, and the molten resin is protected so that the urethane resin coating is in contact with the molten resin. When extrusion molding is performed while covered with a film, the protective film with a urethane resin coating is heated by the heat of the molten resin, and is extruded while being pressed against the surface side of the molded product by the pressure of the molten resin. The resin film is transferred to the surface of the molded product, and the protective film covers the molded product to prevent deformation such as sagging before exiting the extrusion mold.
