Claims (1)
読み取り手段と、読み取つた画像の濃度値を画素
ごとに2値化する2値化手段と、2値化処理後の
画像データを格納する画像データ格納手段と、こ
れから読み出された画像データに基づき、サーマ
ルラインヘツド駆動手段によりサーマル限インヘ
ツドを駆動して1ラインづつ印字を行うとともに
紙送り機構駆動手段により紙送り機構を駆動して
1ラインピツチづつ紙を送るサーマルラインプリ
ンタとよりなる画像形成装置において、前記2値
化処理後の画像データから、1ラインごとに印次
データの有無を判断する印字データ有無判断手段
と、この有無判断結果をデータとして格納する判
断結果データ格納手段と、これから読み出された
判断結果に応じて前記サーマルラインヘツド駆動
手段をON/OFF制御するヘツド駆動制御手段
と、判断結果データ格納手段から読み出された判
断結果に応じて1ラインピツチ分の紙送り速度を
2段階に切り換える紙送り速度切り換え手段とを
