(Prior art) One of the factors that reduces the productivity of i1) aquaculture in eel farming ponds is the deterioration of water quality due to eel excrement and leftover food being deposited on the bottom of the eel farming pond. In addition, if the sedimentary mud on the ground increases too much, this sedimentary mud will get mixed into the eel growing area along the periphery of the eel farming pond, and organic matter decomposition reactions will occur by microorganisms using dissolved oxygen in the eel growing area. Dissolved oxygen in the eel growing area decreases, causing the eel to suffocate. Therefore, as a conventional method for purifying the accumulated mud in order to prevent water quality deterioration in eel farming ponds, water wheels installed at the four corners of the eel farming ponds are used to stir the water surface, and the water flow that occurs around the periphery of the eel farming ponds is used to stir the water surface. A method is used in which leftover feed and excrement are accumulated in the center of the pond, and the accumulated mud at the bottom of the pond is periodically scooped up manually with a shovel or the like and removed.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in this method of purifying the mud deposited on the bottom layer, all the water from the eel pond must be drained out and the mud deposited on the bottom layer must be removed manually with a shovel, which requires a large amount of effort. The disadvantage is that it requires a lot of effort.

In addition, eel farming requires a certain amount of ammonia and other nitrogen in the pond water, as well as sufficient dissolved oxygen, but if the bottom layer sediment is completely removed, the decomposition of organic matter in the sediment by microorganisms will result. A drawback is that the ammonia nitrogen and oxygen produced by the reaction are no longer supplied to the pond water.

(Objective of the present invention) In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, the present invention aims to supply the ammonia nitrogen and oxygen necessary for the growth of eels to the pond water, while at the same time improving the quality of eel farming ponds that cause deterioration of water quality. The object of the present invention is to provide a method that can efficiently purify accumulated mud.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, water turbines 3 mounted on floating bodies 2 are provided above the water surface at the four corners of the eel farming pond 1. A cylindrical bulkhead tank 4, which has a height higher than the water level of the eel pond and is open at the top and bottom, is placed approximately in the center of the eel farming pond l. buried in the mud. Further, air-containing water is constantly poured into the cylindrical partition tank 4 by a water injection device 5. This water injection device 1!
The configuration of No. 5 is as shown below. First, a tank 7 is placed on the floating body 6, and a water pumping bag W8 is provided on the upper part of the tank 7. One end of a pumping pipe 9 is connected to the side surface of the pumping device 8, and the other end reaches into the pond water. Further, one end of a connecting pipe 10 is connected to the upper surface of the water pumping device 8, and the other end reaches the tank 7.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. ! ! ! 1 pond 1
When the water surface is stirred by water wheels installed at the four corners of the eel pond, a water flow is generated on the water surface along the periphery of the eel pond, and air from the atmosphere is actively mixed in. This stream is rich in dissolved oxygen, which attracts eels. Also, due to this water flow,
Leftover feed, eel excrement, etc. accumulate in the center of the pond and become the mud pile 2.

Here, pond water is pumped up by the water pumping device 8 of the water injection device 5 via the pumping pipe 9, and air-containing water that has taken in air from a compressor (not shown) through the air blowing hole 10a is pumped up through the connecting pipe 10. Then, air-containing water is continuously poured into the cylindrical bulkhead tank 4 from the tank 7 through the water outlet pipe 1). As a result, the air-containing water seeps into the sedimentary mud 12 at the bottom of the earth from the opening at the bottom of the cylindrical partition tank 4, and the aerobic microorganisms in the sedimentary mud 12 are activated by the oxygen in the air-containing water. The active decomposition reaction of organic matter in the sedimentary mud 12 by the aerobic microorganisms supplies an appropriate amount of ammonia nitrogen and oxygen to the pond water, suppresses the increase in sedimentary mud on the pond bottom, and purifies the pond water.
