Conventionally, piece-dyed towels are known in which synthetic fiber yarn is used for the weft yarn of the towel border, and the border is made in a different color from other parts by taking advantage of the difference in dyeability from cotton yarn. The design effect was limited to contrasting colors between the border and other parts, which left something to be desired. This invention utilizes the difference in the degree of shrinkage in addition to the difference in the dyeability of the yarn.
This is an attempt to improve this point. Hereinafter, explanation will be given using exemplary diagrams.

As shown in the figure, the present invention provides a towel 1 having a decorative part such as a border 2, a non-shrinkable synthetic fiber thread 3 and a cellulose fiber thread 4 in the weft thread of the decorative part 2.
By using twisted yarns twisted together, the twisted yarns are woven into a structure in which the twisted yarns are slightly floating, for example, in FIG. By using the difference in shrinkage between the synthetic fiber yarn 3 and the cellulose fiber yarn 4 during post-processing such as scouring, bleaching, dyeing, etc., the twist of the twisted yarn is loosened, and the relaxed combined fiber yarn 3 is used as the decorative part 2. By floating the synthetic fiber yarn 3 and the cellulose fiber yarn 4 in different colors (one is non-color) by selecting appropriate dyeing methods, such as selecting a dye that dyes the cellulose fiber yarn but not the synthetic fiber yarn. (including cases of dyeing) or towels characterized by being dyed in different concentrations.

In the above, spun yarns are used as the synthetic fiber yarn 3 and the cellulose fiber yarn 4, and the number of twists of the twisted yarn is kept small. The decorative portion 2 is not limited to the conventional border, but may be provided on the edge or the like.

Cellulose fiber yarns such as cotton yarns shrink by about 10% or more due to post-processing such as scouring, bleaching, and dyeing, but non-shrinkable synthetic fiber yarns such as polyester yarns hardly shrink. The present invention takes advantage of this difference in shrinkage, and uses twisted yarns of non-shrinkable synthetic fiber yarns and cellulose fiber yarns for the weft yarns of the ornamental part, and weaves the yarn into a structure in which the twisted yarns have a slightly higher float. After that, since the above-mentioned treatment was applied, the twist of the twisted yarn became loose due to the difference in the degree of shrinkage in the post-treatment, and the relaxed synthetic fiber yarn did not shrink and floated a little above the decorative part, and the synthetic fiber By adopting a dyeing method that takes advantage of the difference in dyeability between yarn and cellulose fiber yarn, marbling, shading, or mottled patterns of different colors appear in the decorative part, and the decorative part and other parts reveal a wonderful contrast. I was able to obtain a decorative part.

Techniques are known for making specific threads float on the fabric surface by utilizing differences in shrinkage, but the conventional method uses the shrinkage of heat-shrinkable synthetic fiber threads to float natural fiber threads such as cotton threads. It was normal for the surface to surface. The present invention differs from conventional technology in that synthetic fiber yarns such as polyester yarns are floated by shrinkage of cellulose fiber yarns such as cotton yarns, and furthermore, the shrinkable yarns and floating yarns are loosely intertwined in a twisted state. can be,
In addition, the shrinkage yarn and floating yarn are significantly different in that they are in the state of loosely twisted yarn with different colors.
