Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the cooperation of paper feed speed and provide a compact economical copying device by connecting through a power a primary paper feed means for supplying paper to a copying section to a secondary paper supply means for resupplying the recording paper having one side copied. CONSTITUTION:On the way of a path of a primary paper feed means 2 for feeding recording papers to a copying section is provided a second paper feed section 2b. On the other hand, in a secondary paper feed means 17 for refeeding the recording paper having one side copied from a stacker to the copying section are provided a friction wheel 19 for feeding the recording paper in and out of the stacker, a double feed preventing roller 20 and an auxiliary roller 21. The friction wheel 19 is rotated in the direction of arrow b with a gear ratio A interlocked with a drive shaft 2b' of the second paper feed section 2b to feed in the recording paper, and in the direction of arrow b' with a gear ratio B to feed out said paper. The rear ratios A, B free the primary paper feed means 2 by the action of respective clutches 26, 34. Thus, the paper feed speed of the primary paper feed means 2 and the secondary paper feed means 17 is easy to coordinate, copy quality can be uniformalized and a compact economical copying device can be provided.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention stores a recording paper with an original image copied on one side in a copying section in a stacker provided below the copying section, and then copies the recording paper from the stacker. The present invention relates to a double-sided copying device that is capable of copying both sides by refeeding paper to the copying section.

A conventional double-sided copying apparatus has two drive sources: a drive source for a primary paper feeding means that feeds the recording paper to the copying section, and a wA power source for the secondary paper feeding means that refeeds the recording paper after single-sided copying from the stacker to the copying section. Since each device was installed independently, not only did the device become larger, but the cost also increased. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the paper feeding speed of the secondary paper feeding means and the paper feeding speed of the secondary paper feeding means may not match, resulting in a difference in copy quality between one side and the other side.

Reference numeral 17 denotes a secondary sheet feeding means provided on the front side in the conveying direction of the conveying section 13, and the secondary sheet feeding means 17 is connected to the duplex unit 12.
Friction shaft (may be a friction belt) 19 fixed to the center of #18 inserted between the side frames of the second unit 12b.
A double feed prevention roller 20 is spring-biased so as to come into pressure contact with the outer surface of the friction ring 19, and a lever 20b is pivotally supported by the tip of a lever 20b loosely fitted to the shaft 20a of the double feed prevention roller 20.
The friction shaft 19 includes an auxiliary roller 21 biased by a spring so as to come into pressure contact with the lower surface of the friction shaft 19. The friction shaft 19 constituting the secondary paper feeding means 17 can be switched between forward and reverse directions by the action of a gear ration A provided at one end of the shaft 18 and a gear ration B provided at the other end. . When the friction shaft 19 rotates integrally with the gear 24 due to the action of the clutch 26, the rotation passes through an intermediate gear 28, a gear 29 fixed to one end of the shaft 18, and rotates the friction shaft 19 in the direction indicated by the arrow. . When the solenoid 25 is in the ON state, that is, when the plunger 25' is pulled and the tip 30' of the lever 30 is engaged with the ratchet on the outer periphery of the clutch 26, the gear 27 is connected to the gear 24. The clutch 34 is turned off at the third solenoid, and the bifurcated lever 39 is turned off at the sixth position by the action of a spring (not shown).
When rotated as shown in Figure 3, the lever 40 is released from the ratchet, and the gear 35 becomes integrated with the shaft 33' of the gear 33. In other words, the friction wheel 19 is rotated in the direction of the arrow by the gearing A, that is.

In addition, the rotation in the direction of arrow b' is caused by gearation B.
That is, this is performed when the solenoid 38 is in the OFF state. When rotating in the direction of arrow A, the solenoid 38 of gear ration B is in the ON state, freeing the gear 35, and when rotating in the direction of arrow b', the solenoid 25 of gear ration A is in the ON state, freeing the gear 27. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6I, the rotating lever 44, which had been pressed down by the protruding member 43 provided to protrude from the outer periphery of the rotor 41, is rotated clockwise by the action of the spring member 50.
The shaft 44' is rotated in the same direction. A stacker 48 is attached to the shaft 44' of the rotating lever 44 as shown in the fourth figure.
A push-up plate 4 for the recording paper 3 provided at the entrance portion of the recording paper 3 flush with the bottom surface thereof.

Therefore, when the recording paper 3 is being conveyed in the conveyance path 13 by the feed roller 134 and the roller 135 that is in pressure contact with the recording paper 3, the friction ring 19 is operated by the action of the gear racing B (the solenoid 38 is in the OFF state). Since the recording paper 3 is rotating in the direction of the arrow b' due to the friction wheel 1
9, the paper is conveyed along a guide plate 47 provided to cover from the top surface to the front surface as shown in FIG. In this case, the double feed prevention roller 20 which is in pressure contact with the friction ring 19 is free to rotate. Also.

Since the auxiliary roller 21 is in pressure contact with the lower surface of the friction ring 19, the recording paper 3 is reliably fed to the position where its leading edge abuts against an abutment member 49 provided deep inside the stacker 48. The position of this abutting member 49 can be automatically adjusted according to the size of the recording paper 3.

8 is turned on, and the push-up plate 49 is pushed up as described above.
The uppermost layer of the recording paper 3 on the upper surface is pressed onto the lower surface of the friction ring 19. Then, a little later than this, the solenoid 25 of the gear ration A is turned off and the Wl friction ring 19 starts rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow. In other words, the friction wheel 19 is configured to start after the recording paper 3 in the stuffer car 48 is pressed against the push-up plate 49. Therefore, the recording paper 3 is sent out by the friction, is separated one by one by the electrotransmission prevention roller 20, passes through the opening 51, joins the recording paper path of the primary paper feeding means 2, and is fed to the copying section 4 again. becomes.

Here, the process in which the recording paper 3 fed from the secondary paper feeding means 2 to the copying section 4 is re-fed by the secondary paper feeding means 17, and is ejected through the copying section 4 will be described in the eighth section. As shown in the figure, ■~■
It will be like this. In other words, ■ is a state in which the paper is fed with the back side up from the primary paper feeding means 2, ■ is a state in which one side is copied on the back side in the copying section, and ■ is a state in which the paper is reversed at the installation part of the movable guide plate 10, and the color is reversed. With the side facing up, ■ is sent through the conveying section 13 in the duplex unit 12 toward the primary sheet feeding means 2 side, and is reversed again by the action of the friction wheel 19 of the secondary sheet feeding means 17, with the back side facing up. The state in which it is placed upwards, and the state shown in ■ is the state stored in the stacker 48.

As described above, the double-sided copying apparatus according to the present invention includes a primary paper feeding means for feeding paper to the copying section and a secondary paper feeding means for refeeding the recording paper after one-sided copying from the stacker to the copying section. , because the secondary paper feeding means is power-coupled with the primary paper feeding means, it is easy to match the paper feeding speeds of the secondary paper feeding means and the secondary paper feeding means, and the paper feeding speed of one side and the other side can be easily matched. In addition to making it possible to make the copying quality uniform, unlike conventional devices in which the drive sources for the secondary paper feeding means and the secondary paper feeding means are independent, the device can be made smaller and lower in cost. It has excellent effects.
