Claims (1)
- 外部装置とのデータのやりとりおよび全体の動
作を制御する第１の制御手段と、記録の機構部を
制御する第２の制御部と、記録紙を収納する複数
の給紙トレイと、これらの複数の給紙トレイのお
のおのに収納された記録紙のサイズを検出するサ
イズ検出手段と、上記複数の給紙トレイのおのお
のに収納された記録紙がなくなつたことを検出す
る用紙切れ検出手段を備え、上記第２の制御部は
、上記第１の制御手段から指令されたサイズの記
録が収納されている上記複数の給紙トレイを、上
記サイズ検出手段および上記用紙切れ検出手段の
出力に基づいて判別し、当該給紙トレイを選択す
ることを特徴とする記録装置。
