形成された摺動面に押付けるロツクアツプ機構を
備えたロツクアツプ機構付トルクコンバータにお
いて、ロツクアツプ機構のフエーシングの半径方
向外方に位置するフロントカバー内面に軸方向に
沿つて連続した凹部を形成し、この凹部が形成さ
れている部分のフロントカバー内面に略環状のド
ラムを固着して請け、ドラムとフロントカバーの
間にトルクコンバータ内部の作動油を流通させる
通路を形成し、ドラムの内周面を前記フエーシン
グの摺動面とし、前記通路を流通する作動油の流
れで前記摺動面に噛みこむ異物を洗い流すように
したことを特徴とする遠心ロツクアツプ機構付ト
