As shown in the figure, it is equipped with a pump impeller P directly connected to an input shaft 1, a turbine T directly connected to an output shaft 2, and a stator S connected to a fixed cylindrical shaft 3 via a one-way clutch 4. The stator S remains stationary until the turbine T is driven and the rotation of the output shaft 2 increases and the speed ratio reaches the clutch point, but beyond the clutch point the stator S begins to rotate relative to the fixed cylindrical shaft 3. Inside the one-way clutch 4, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, an outer race 5 and retainers 6 and 7 on both sides are fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the hub of the stator S by splines or other methods, and an inner race 8 is fitted to the fixed cylinder shaft 3. Splined or otherwise mated to
A sprag 9 (one-way clutch actuator) is sandwiched between the inner race 8 and the outer race 5. 12 is a snap ring, 10 is a radial oil groove, and 11 is an oil hole. Both retainers 6, 7
Since the outside of the torque converter is filled with hydraulic oil, there are oil grooves 10 and oil holes 11 in the sliding parts of the retainer 6 and the turbine hub and in the sprags 9.
Oil is supplied through etc. However, when the combined body of the stator S and retainers 6 and 7 rotates relative to the inner race 8 above the clutch point, oil is not actively supplied to the sliding surface A of the retainers 6 and 7 and the inner race 8. Abrasion tends to increase, and wear on the sliding surface A has been confirmed even when aluminum or brass, which has good lubricity, is used as the material for the retainers 6 and 7. If the sliding surface A seizes due to particularly severe operation, the stator S will be in a stopped state at all times (even above the clutch point).
The performance of the torque converter will deteriorate.

(Structure of the invention) The present invention integrally fixes the outer race 5 and the retainers 6 and 7 on both sides of the stator S, and the outer peripheral surface of both ends of the inner race 8 integrally fixed to the fixed cylinder shaft 3. An inner peripheral surface 15 and an annular end surface 16 are provided on the retainers 6 and 7 to face each other, and the outer race 5
and an inner race 8, in which a plurality of radial oil grooves 18 are provided in the annular end surfaces 16 of the retainers 6 and 7, and the inner peripheral surface 1
5 is a one-way clutch lubricating device for a liquid torque converter, characterized in that the oil groove 18 is provided with an axial oil groove 17 which is continuous in an L-shape in longitudinal section.

(Embodiment) In FIGS. 1 and 2 showing a first embodiment of the present invention, the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 4 indicate corresponding parts. In the illustrated example, among the sliding surfaces A of the retainers 6 and 7 and the inner race 8, oil grooves 17 and 18 that are continuous in an L shape are formed on the inner peripheral surface 15 and the annular end surface 16 on the retainer 6 and 7 side in the circumferential direction. A plurality of them are provided at intervals of . The oil groove 17 is located on the inner peripheral surface 1 of the retainer.
The oil groove 18 extends axially on the oil groove 17 , and the oil groove 18 extends radially on the end surface 16 from the end of the oil groove 17 .

Gap 19 between retainers 6, 7 and fixed cylinder shaft 3,
Since the retainers 20 are filled with the oil, when the retainers 6 and 7 are stationary at a speed ratio below the clutch point, oil enters the oil grooves 18 and 17 and forms an oil film on the sliding surface A. Above the clutch point, inner race 8 and retainer 6, 7
starts relative rotation, the oil in the oil groove 18 is moved radially outward by centrifugal force, passes through the oil groove 17, and is discharged to the sprag 9 side, during which an oil film forms over the entire sliding surface A. It is formed.

(Effect of the invention) As explained above, since the inner race 8 is fixed to the fixed cylinder shaft 3, the inner circumferential surface 15 and end surface 16 of the retainers 6 and 7 may rotate relative to the inner race 8. The inner peripheries of the retainers 6 and 7 are fitted with high precision to achieve a centering effect for the inner race 8 and outer race 5, but oil grooves are provided on the inner periphery 15 and end surface 16. This causes the sliding surface to run out of oil, which shortens the life of the retainer. However, according to the present invention, the inner race 8 of the retainers 6 and 7
Oil grooves 17, 18, etc. are provided on the sliding surface A of the retainers 6, 7 to create an oil film between them and the inner race 8 even during relative sliding, to soften the sliding resistance and improve the wear resistance of the retainers 6, 7. be able to. This reduces the sliding resistance of the retainers 6, 7, prevents seizure, and improves wear resistance. In short, in the present invention, a plurality of radial oil grooves 18 are provided in the annular end surfaces 16 of the retainers 6 and 7, and an axial oil groove 17 is provided in the inner circumferential surface 15 that is continuous with the oil grooves 18 in an L shape in a longitudinal section. Therefore, when the retainers 6 and 7 are stationary below the clutch point, oil enters the oil grooves 18 and 17 and forms an oil film on the sliding surface A. In addition, above the clutch point, the retainers 6 and 7 begin to rotate relative to the inner race 8, so the oil in the oil groove 18 is moved radially outward by centrifugal force, and continues to move outward in the oil groove 18.
Since the oil is forcibly fed into the sliding surface A, it has the advantage that an oil film can be reliably formed over the entire sliding surface A above the clutch point that requires the most lubrication.
