Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide immediate detection of abnormality of an equipment employing a cooling medium, by inputting an output from a temperature sensor and that from a pressure sensor into differential amplifier once passed through a temperature conversion amplifier to compare the outputs with the upper and lower limit values. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a cooling medium is measured with a temperature sensor and amplified with an amplifier 1 to be inputted into a differential amplifier 3. On the other hand, the pressure of cooling medium is measured with a pressure sensor while the value is translated into temperature with a temperature conversion amplifier 2 to be inputted into one of the differential amplifier 3. An output of the differential amplifier 3 is inputted into a higher- order comparator 4 and a lower-order comparator 5 and when the outputs exceed the upper and lower limit values, the output section 6 outputs an abnormal signal. This enables immediate detection of abnormality in a unit using the cooling medium. This apparatus also functions as measuring device by measuring outputs of both the amplifiers 1 and 2.

The present invention uses voltage from a temperature sensor/pressure sensor that is output as a change in voltage or current, and changes the temperature.
The voltage from the temperature sensor is input to the amplifier, and its output is input to the differential amplifier. The voltage from the pressure sensor is input to the temperature conversion amplifier, and its output is also input to the differential amplifier. The differential amplifier outputs the difference between the converted pressure value temperature and the measured temperature as a voltage value, and inputs the difference voltage value to the upper comparator and the lower comparator. The upper comparator outputs an upper limit abnormality signal when the differential voltage value exceeds the upper limit setting value, and the lower comparator outputs a lower limit abnormality signal when the differential voltage value is divided by the lower limit setting value.

The present invention will be described below in the first [! This will be explained according to the overall configuration diagram of I. The amplifier 1 is for amplifying the output voltage of the temperature sensor, and the voltage value v1 increases or decreases with changes in the temperature of the cooling medium. The temperature conversion amplifier 2 is for converting and amplifying the output voltage of the pressure sensor into temperature, and the voltage 1dlV2 increases or decreases depending on the change in the pressure of the cooling medium. Further, a differential amplifier 3 is provided to calculate the difference between the voltage value V1 and the voltage value v2 and output the voltage value (3), and the voltage value (3) increases or decreases depending on changes in pressure and temperature. The voltage [V3 is input to the upper comparator 4 and the lower comparison W5, and the upper comparator @4 outputs the upper limit abnormality signal S1 when the voltage value v3 exceeds the upper limit setting voltage value v4, and the lower comparator 5 outputs the upper limit abnormality signal S1 when the voltage value V3 exceeds the upper limit set voltage value v4. When the lower limit setting voltage [V5 is divided, a lower limit abnormality signal S2 is output. The output unit 6 inputs the upper limit abnormality signal Sl and the lower limit abnormality signal S2, and outputs both abnormal signals as abnormal signals.
