本発明の魚頭切断装置は、魚体を横たえて搬送

を切断除去するカツターを有し、上記狭窄により
卵巣が尾部の方へ変位した状態で魚頭を切断する

の逃げを与えるため、頭部、胴部、尾部に分割構
成されている。コンベア1の往路中ほどの、頭部
用コンベア1aと胴部用コンベア1bの間隔に沿
つて、魚頭のエラ部ないし胸ビレの付け根部を上
下から狭圧するための狭圧ベルト4,5が設けら
れている。このベルト4,6は上下ともコンベア
1と同方向へ同速度で走行し、弾力的に変位する
ローラ6により魚頭の大きさにばらつきがあつて
も確実に押圧力が作用するようになつている。こ
の狭圧ベルトの往路中ほどに魚頭を切断するため
のカツター7が設けられている。このカツターは
第1図に示すように魚体搬送路の片側に設けるほ
か、上下両側から半分づつ切り込まれるように上
下一対に設けてもよく、更に、第2図に示すよう
に上下一対のカツター8,8を傾斜させて設けて

の結果切断面から卵巣が突出する。従つて次の工
程において卵巣の取り出しをきわめて容易に行う
