Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent covering a plate lug with melted lead and increase binding force of a shelf with the plate lug by closely contacting a jig to at least one width direction side of plate lugs to adjust heat radiation in the contact part, and forming a part, where is not covered by a shelf, in a welding part. CONSTITUTION:When a connector is welded to a group of plates, a jig is closely contacted to at least one end in a width direction of plate lugs to adjust heat radiation in the contact part so that the contact parts of the lugs are not covered by a shelf welding the connector and lugs. When plate lugs of a lead-acid battery and a connector are welded, t1 and/or t2 are made zero, and a comb 2 and a contact plate 3 of welding jig are closely contacted to plate lugs 6. Thereby, covering the lugs with melted lead is prevented, and crumbling caused by welding is prevented by decrease in temperature, and welding state can be visually confirmed. In addition, the welding area on one side in contact with the jig of the lug is decreased and the welding area on the other side is increased.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As mentioned above, in the conventional manufacturing method, the welding surface between the shelf portion and the electrode plate ear portion is hidden and cannot be seen, making it difficult to judge whether the welding is good or bad. Furthermore, if all of the electrode plate ears that have entered are melted, there is a problem that the bonding surface between the electrode plate ears and the welded portion of the shelf portion becomes smaller, and the bonding force becomes weaker.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a method of attaching a jig to at least one side in the width direction of the electrode plate ears when group welding the connecting body and the seed plate. The degree of heat dissipation of the close contact portion is adjusted by bringing the lead into close contact with the lead so that the close contact portion of the electrode plate ear is not covered by the shelf portion where the connection portion and the electrode plate ear are fully welded. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an electrode plate group for a storage battery.

(Function) When group welding electrode plates for lead-acid batteries, if the heat is too strong or
If there is a problem with the position of the burner, the edge of the electrode plate may melt too much, and if the edge of the electrode plate is dirty or oxidized due to being left unattended, welding will be insufficient.
As in the present invention, if the heat dissipation is accelerated by a method such as bringing the electrode plate ears into close contact with the jig, and the part where the degree of welding is most suppressed is exposed, the internal welding state after welding can be at least as good as the electrode plate ears. The welding surface can be clearly seen, making it easier to visually determine the welding condition. Furthermore, the bonding area between the welding layer and the plate lug increases, and as a result, the bonding force between the shelf and the plate lug improves.

FIG. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a welded part when an electrode plate lug for a lead-acid battery and a connecting body are welded by the method of the present invention.
Since the rest is the same as the conventional example, detailed explanation will be omitted. When welding the lead alloy connection body 7 and the calcium electrode plate ear 6, different alloys are welded, so it is difficult to set the welding conditions, so it is necessary to check the welding condition by visual inspection etc. be.

As the temperature is lower, unnecessary displacement due to welding is eliminated, and as shown in Figure (b), the welding surface on one side of the welding plate edge (the side where the jig was in close contact) is reduced, and the welding surface on the other side is reduced. It can be seen that the weld area has increased.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, no gap is provided between the electrode plate ears and the mold during group welding of electrode plates for lead-acid batteries, so that molten lead is The electrode plate ears are no longer covered, making it easier to judge the welding condition from the appearance. Also, since the bonding area between the shelf and the electrode plate ears increases, the tensile strength is improved, and the shelf This has the effect of increasing the bonding force between the electrode tab and the electrode tab.
