本考案は、吊下げ搬送装置の合流部下手の下方
に台車走行ラインを相対向して設けて、吊下げ搬
送装置と台車との間で被搬送物の受渡しを可能と

記トロリ装置4は、フロントトロリ6と、前後一
対のフリートロリ7,8と、リヤートロリ9と、
フロントトロリ6とフリートロリ7との間、なら
びにフリートロリ8とリヤートロリ9との間を連
結する連結棒10,11と、両フリートロリ7,
8から連設した縦部材12A,12Bの上端間を
連結する連結フレーム13とからなる。前記ハン
ガ装置5は、前記縦部材12A,12Bの下端間
に取付けられたハンガフレーム14と、このハン
ガフレーム14に取付けた前後複数個のシヤツク
ル15と、任意のシヤツクル15に係合可能なフ
ツク16をその上端に有する複数本のアーム17
とからなり、アーム17の下端により被搬送物1
8を保持可能としている。前記駆動装置用レール
3はチエンなどの駆動装置(図示せず)を案内す
るもので、この駆動装置からは一定間隔置きに駆
動突起19が連設される。そしてフロントトロリ
6には、前記駆動突起19が係合可能な受動突起
20が設けられ、さらに受動突起20を非作用位
置に下降させるための揺動部材21が前方に延設
される。またリヤートロリ9には、揺動部材21
が乗り上がり揺動可能な固定部材22が後方に延
設される。このような吊下げ搬送装置1による
と、例えば第2図に示すように合流部23の下手
下方に台車走行ライン24を相対向させて設け、
そしてこの相対向部25におけるトロリ案内用レ
ール2を昇降可能な分断レールにすることによ
り、ハンガ装置5と台車との間で被搬送物18の

り、これらを同一長さのトロリ装置4で搬送した

更によりフリートロリ8とリヤートロリ9との距
離Lを調整し、以つて被搬送物18の長さに好適
なストレージ長さSとして使用している。同様の
ことは台車にも言え、種々な被搬送物18に好適
な複数種の台車が台車走行ライン24を流れてい
る。例えば第2図において、合流部23の上手の
両分岐ラインにおいて異なる被搬送物18が搬送
され、そして合流部23の上手でストレージされ
ているとき、台車走行ライン24を流れて相対向
部25に達した台車の種類を確認したのち、当該
台車に渡すべき被搬送物18を保持してなるトロ
リ装置4の分岐ラインから相対向部25に移入さ
せなければならない。すなわち相対向部25に台
車が達したのち合流部23の上手にストレージさ
れているトロリ装置4を該相対向部25まで移動
させ、そして分割レールを下降させることにより
被搬送物18を台車に渡せ得ることになり、これ

の長尺トロリ装置32Aは、ストツパ装置37A
の開と送出し装置57Aの作動とにより分断レー
ル43Aから下流のトロリ案内用レール30に送
出され、搬送される。そしてストツパ装置37A
の開により、長尺物搬送ライン35Aにストレー
ジされている先頭の長尺トロリ装置32Aが分断
レール43Aに送込まれる。次の台車が長尺物用
であつたならば前述と同様の作用が行なわれる。
また短尺物用の台車であつたならば、シリンダ5
5の作動により可動枠52を移動させ、第4図仮
想線ロで示すように分断レール43A側の長尺ト
ロリ装置32Aを台車走行ライン38の上方から
側方に逃がすと共に、分断レール43B側の短尺
トロリ装置32Bを台車走行ライン38の真上に
