て水を落下させる向流式冷却塔において、両側面
に水平方向のスリツトをもつ複数個の上段樋を塔
内に水平方向に設置し、この上段樋の下方に、同
じく両側面に水平方向のスリツトをもつ複数個の
下段樋を、上段樋の各スリツトから落下する水の
一部または全部をこの下段樋が受け取るような位
置関係をもつて設置し、各樋のスリツトから水膜
状に水を落下させる散水構造としたことを特徴と
