【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、冷却塔に使用される渦巻状に巻かれ

く、波状屈曲したシートWの上端よりも低い位置
と中間位置に帯状シートTaとTbを介在させて巻
いたものであり、回転散水装置から出る噴射水の
方向は遠心力の作用により散水管に対し直角方向
ではなく若干の角度をもつて外周方向へ傾斜して
いる。従つて、回転散水装置から出る噴射水は渦
巻形充填物各巻シートの内周面に多く当り外周面
には内周面からはね返つた水が付着する程度であ
つて、充填物は各巻シート内周面のみが機能し外
周面は殆ど機能しないので不利である。

の隔離用シートを、上方から散布される水が当る
ように前記各スペーサー間に介在させて前記巻シ
ートの上端位置に設けたことを特徴とする。
