本考案は、互いに嵌合しあう一対の嵌合体から
なる継手の上記両嵌合体間に配設されたガスケツ

を達成するために、互いに嵌合しあう一対の嵌合

広がつた環状溝を形成するとともに、この環状溝
内に先端部断面が二叉状のガスケツトを一定範囲
内移動自在に挿入し、上記一方の嵌合体に、その
環状溝内のガスケツト先端二叉部分空間に圧力流
体を供給してガスケツトの基部端面を他方の嵌合
体の端面に押し付ける圧力流体注入口を設け、ガ
スケツトに対向する他方の嵌合体の箇所で周方向
適当間隔ごとに複数の穴を貫通して形成し、該各
穴内に摺動体を摺動自在に挿入し、該各摺動体を
ガスケツトに押し付けることにより該ガスケツト
の基部端面を他方の嵌合体から離間させる離間手
段を設けたものであつて、これにより2つの嵌合
体のシールを良好に行なうことはもちろん、継手
開放時にガスケツトの離間が容易になるととも

該連通孔14に接続された圧力流体(蒸気、気体
など)の供給パイプ、16はロツクナツトであ
る。17は摺動体であつて、大径部12B内に摺
動自在に配設されたピストン17Aと、該ピスト
ン17Aの中央部に固着されたロツド17Bと、
該ロツド17Bの先端に固着されるとともに小径
部12A内に摺動自在に配設された突起17Cと
からなる。18はピストン17Aを一方の嵌合体

人手を必要とせずに環状溝内におさめることがで
き、安全性および装着の信頼性に優れ、操作時間

ツト先端二叉部分空間に圧力流体を供給してガス
ケツトの基部端面を他方の嵌合体の端面に押し付
ける圧力流体注入口を設け、ガスケツトに対向す
る他方の嵌合体の箇所で周方向適当間隔ごとに複
数の穴を貫通して形成し、該各穴内に摺動体を摺
動自在に挿入し、該各摺動体をガスケツトに押し
付けることにより該ガスケツトの基部端面を他方
の嵌合体から離間させる離間手段を設けたことを
