Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform slide contact of a collecting device on the vehicle side despite of vertical vibration of a vehicle, by a method wherein positive and negative rigid trolley wires, heretofore installed in a way that an upper trolley wire is installed independently from a lower trolley wire, can be formed integrally to bring it into a fixed state. CONSTITUTION:An insulating plate 6, disposed in parallel to and facing a positive trolley wire, is secured to a support frame 5. The both ends of each of a pair of arms 7 are pivotally attached to a bed plate 4 and a support frame 5 to enable to execute parallelogram motion of the insulating plate 6. However, a leaf spring 8 attached to a bed plate 4 is caused to press an extension part 7a of the arm 7, and the insulating plate 6 is always pressed against the side of the positive trolley wire. The shoe of a positive collector 9 is always brought into slide contact with a trolley wire 2, and negative collectors 10 are attached to the upper and the lower part of a support frame 5. A shoe 10b is forced into slide contact with a negative trolley wire 1. The bed plate 4 is pivotally attached to an axle 14 mounted to a vehicle positioned opposite to the pivotally-mounting part of the arm 7, and is held in a horizontal manner through the force of a mounted spring. This enables smooth slide of a shoe 10b through swinging of the bed plate 4 around the axle 14 during vertical vibration of a vehicle.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] An electric vehicle, which is equipped with running tires and guide rollers and travels on the road using the running tires while the guide rollers are engaged with guide rails laid on the road, is used as a means of transportation. Its uses are expanding as a result. The present invention relates to this electric vehicle overhead contact line and current collector.

That is, insulators are made to protrude laterally at the top and bottom of the side walls of the running path, and ordinary rigid contact wires are fixed to the outer ends of the insulators, respectively, with one being positive and the other being negative. As current collectors corresponding to this, the vehicle is also provided with two current collectors, upper and lower, each of which is in sliding contact with the contact wire.

In this case, the following problem arises. First, this vehicle has large vertical vibrations due to its rubber tires. Both the collector and the vehicle move up and down with large amplitude. It is difficult to select the mounting height position of each contact wire while maintaining an appropriate height interval between both contact wires.

Secondly, the magnetic fields generated by the upper and lower contact wires act in a direction that repels both contact wires, and in order to withstand this bending stress, the insulators supporting each must be large and have high mechanical strength.

Third, since the positive and negative contact wires are exposed, electric shock and other ground faults are likely to occur.

Due to the above-mentioned circumstances, all of the conventional devices have been large in size in relation to their current collecting capacity, and the sliding contact surfaces have been subject to large wear.

The square rigid contact wires, which were conventionally installed separately on the top and bottom, have been integrated into a fixed structure that can be fixed, despite the vertical vibration of the vehicle.
The current collector on the vehicle side can be slid into contact with it without any problems.

In FIG. 2, the negative contact wire 1 has a U-shaped cross section, and is fixed to the structure via an insulator g at the back surface of its base. A grounding wire (not shown) is attached to a part of it. The positive contact wire 2 has, for example, a convex cross section, and its six central sides are fixed to the inner surface of the base of the negative contact wire via an insulator 3. Determine the dimensions to maintain sufficient insulation distance between the positive and negative contact wires.

An insulating plate 6 is fixed to the support frame 5, and the insulating plate 6 is arranged parallel to and facing the main contact wire 2. The pair of arms 7 have both ends connected to the base plate 4 and the support frame 5.
The insulating plate 6 is pivotably connected to the insulating plate 6 and is movable in a parallelogram manner.

However, the plate 8 attached to the base plate is the extension 7 of the arm 7.
The insulating plate 6 is always pressed to the side of the normal contact wire. A positive collector 9 is mounted on the surface of the insulating plate 6. The main collector 9 has a groove-shaped main body 9a, a sled-shaped shoe 9b whose one end is pivotally attached to the main body,
A spring 9C biases the shoe in the extrusion direction, and the shoe 9b is always in sliding contact with the normal contact wire 2. The pressing force of the spring 9C is set to be equal to or less than the pressing force of the plate spring 8 attached to the arm. Negative collectors 10 are attached to the top and bottom of the support frame 5. The negative collector also has a main body 10a and a shoe 1.
It is composed of an Obl spring 10c, and a shoe 10b is in sliding contact with the negative contact wire 1. The base plate 4 is pivotally connected to a shaft 14 provided on the vehicle at the opposite side of the pivot point of the arm 7, and is kept in a horizontal position by an attached spring (not shown), so that it remains stable even when the vehicle vibrates up and down. The above-mentioned parallelogram movement is made possible with respect to the support frame 5 at the height position without any hindrance.

The present invention is configured as described above. FIG. 1 shows a case where the base plate 4 moves to the left together with the vehicle. The arm 7 is inclined so as to follow this, and the support frame 5 is pushed to the side of the normal contact wire 2 without any force. Even when sudden lateral vibration occurs in the vehicle, the action of the spring 9C keeps the shoe 9b
maintains sliding contact with the normal contact wire 2 without any problem. Vertical vibrations of the vehicle do not interfere with the sliding contact of the shoe 10b due to the rocking of the base plate 4 about the shaft 14.

Various variations of the present invention can be made based on the same idea. In FIG. 6, the positive contact wire 2 is of a groove type with an open front, filled with a solid acid viscous lubricant 11, and composed of two sets of negative current collectors 10. A plurality of positive and negative electrode current collectors are installed in parallel, thereby contributing to improvement of current collection capacity and W1 wear resistance. The lubricant can be filled not only into the normal contact wire as described above, but also into the bodies of the current collectors 9 and 10. FIG. 7 shows the main contact wire 2 covered with an insulating cover 12 except for the sliding surface and attached to an insulator 13 . This double insulation prevents short circuits between lines and electric shocks, and allows the overall size to be reduced. Furthermore, although the above embodiments have been exemplified in the case where the opening groove portion of the negative contact wire having a U-shaped cross section is located in the horizontal direction, it is obvious that the present invention can also be applied to a case where the opening groove portion is located in the downward direction.
