Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve stability in control and comfortableness in driving by arranging such constitution as setting a spring constant larger, when a rubber bush is compressed to the car body side in the car width direction, than that when it is compressed to the opposite side, in a suspension device having an A type suspension arm. CONSTITUTION:A rubber bush 7 is composed of an inner cylinder 9, an outer cylinder 10 and a rubber member 11 installed between them and a hollow 12 is formed on one side of the rubber member 11. Consequently, a spring constant becomes larger when the outer cylinder 10 is compressed to a hollow side 12a then that when it is compressed to the opposite side (b). This rubber bush 7 is so installed that the hollow 12 may be positioned on the car body side and thereby a compression spring constant to the car body side is set larger. 大きい方が望ましい。一方、走行中にブレーキが作動さ
れた場合、前輪支持部1cには矢Bで示すような後方に
向う力が加えられる。したがってラバーブツシュ7のラ
バー部材には、矢すで示す矢aとは反対側の方向の圧縮
力が作用するが、この場合のラバー部材は、乗り心地の
面から軟い方が望ましい。すなわちラバー部材のばね定
数が小さい方が望ましい。
