Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of poor appearances at the terminal sections of a decorated material by a method wherein a molding mold is provided with inserting walls, which are protruding individually upon molding, at positions corresponding to the terminal sections of the decorated material to be set in the molding mold so as to be capable of being advanced or retreated. CONSTITUTION:A decorated material Mb is set at a predetermined position in the molding surface 1a of a molding mold 1, thereafter, a vacuum pump 5 is operated to adhere and fix the decorated material Mb. Next, a parison Ma, consisting of a synthetic resin material, is set at the side of the molding surface 1a of the mold 1 and the other molding mold is clamped, thereafter, air W is supplied into the parison Ma to start molding. Then, a movable die plate 10 is operated immediately before starting the molding to advance it toward the molding mold and project the tip ends of inserting walls 8, provided at the tip end of a rod member 9, toward the molding surface 1a of the mol1 while the tip end section Mc of the decorated material Mb and the periphery thereof are bent toward the parison Ma by the protruded section. In this case, the parison Ma is formed so as to cover the protruded inserting wall 8 and the terminal section Mc of the decorated material Mb as the molding is progressed whereby the invasion into the bent section Me of the decorated material Mb may be prevented.

In this case, the method for molding the decorative material includes a method in which the resin molded product is used as a base material and the decorative material is molded all over it by vacuum forming, and a method in which the decorative material is applied partially in the mold during molding of the resin molded product. An insert molding method is used in which decorative materials are set and molded.

However, although the former molding method is suitable for covering the entire resin molded product with decorative material,
There is a problem in that the molding operation becomes complicated when the decorative material is partially provided. In addition, in the latter molding method, during molding of the resin molded product, the synthetic resin material filled in the mold wraps around the end of the decorative material, causing the decorative material in that area to roll up and cause poor appearance. Not only that, but also due to the shape constraints of the resin molded product, there is a problem in that a separately processed decorative material must be attached in a later process.

Therefore, this invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an insertion wall that protrudes individually during molding is moved into and out of the mold at a portion located at the end of the decorative material set in the mold. By arranging it so that it is possible to do so, the purpose is to facilitate the molding operation of the decorative material and to prevent the occurrence of poor appearance at the end portion of the decorative material.

Immediately before the start of molding, the insertion wall is made to protrude toward the molding surface, and the end of the decorative material is bent at the protruding portion toward the synthetic resin side that is the molding material. At this time, as the molding progresses, the synthetic resin is molded to cover the protruding insertion wall and the end of the decorative material, and the synthetic resin is blocked by the insertion wall and enters the folded part of the decorative material. is hindered. As a result, the parting portion of the decorative material is neatly formed. In addition, during molding, the decorative material is fixed by vacuuming, so the synthetic resin approaches the molding surface before other parts, so it contacts from the center of the decorative material toward the ends, and the ends Involving or

In this blow molding, joining is performed with the parison h in a softened state embracing the terminal part Me of the decorative material and its surroundings, so in the case of decorative material Mb such as fabritta, the resin will not penetrate into the fabric. Bonding can be achieved by biting, but depending on the type of decorative material, it may not be possible to obtain the desired bonding strength. It is also possible to mold the material by applying an agent thereto.

In this example, molding was performed by Piko molding, but according to the present invention, the invention is not limited to this example. It can also be applied to the method of At that time, when performing compression molding, after placing the heated decorative material on the molding die, the insertion wall is made to protrude from below onto the molding surface, and as the mold is clamped, the insertion wall is retracted so that its tip is slightly It is best to mold it in a protruding state. Further, in the case of injection molding, the temperature of the mold is raised by about 20 to 30° C. compared to general molding, and the insertion wall can be made to protrude from the molding surface immediately before injection molding is completed.
