Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the rotating speed of a CD motor without adding a special external detector by detecting the rotating speed by utilizing a noise from the motor. CONSTITUTION:A pulse noise generated from the brush of a DC motor 2 is fed to a capacitor 3 to remove its DC component. This is amplified by an amplifier 4, and supplied to a filter 5. The output of the filter 5 is applied to a counter 6 to display the rotating speed of the motor 2.
