Claims

In a two-bore throttle body having a primary valve and a secondary valve, each shaft of which is biased to rotate in the valve closing direction by a spring means, the secondary valve is forcibly opened as the primary valve is opened. An arm for opening the secondary valve and a first cam for assisting the closing of the secondary valve are provided on the shaft of the primary valve, a second cam driven to open by the arm, and a first cam for assisting the closing of the secondary valve. A cam follower is rotatably supported on the shaft of the secondary valve coaxially with the second cam, and is provided with a cam follower on the shaft of the secondary valve, which is provided with a biasing force by a spring means in the direction of contacting the first cam. A secondary valve forced return mechanism in a two-bore throttle body, further comprising means for adjusting a relative mounting angle between the cam follower and the second cam.
