Claims (1)
- ウオータジヤケツト内を流れる冷却水の沸騰に
よる気化熱でエンジンを冷却すると共にウオータ
ジヤケツト内で発生した水蒸気を蒸気通路を介し
てコンデンサへ導き、この水蒸気をコンデンサで
凝縮して液化し、この液化による水をウオータジ
ヤケツトへ戻す内燃機関の冷却装置において、各
気筒の水蒸気室に連通する蒸気マニホールドを各
水蒸気室の上部に設けると共にこの蒸気マニホー
ルドの中央部には各水蒸気室からの水蒸気を合流
させる拡大室を設け、この拡大室内に冷却水の液
面レベルを検出する水位センサを配設し、この水
位センサの検出出力により、コンデンサの水をウ
オータジヤケツトへ供給するポンプを作動してウ
オータジヤケツト内の貯水量を一定量に維持する
制御を行なう制御装置を有することを特徴とする
内燃機関の冷却装置。
