Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of heat in a blas furnace and the load of brick by fitting metallic fittings for the throat of the furnace as water-cooled wearing plates to an iron shell and by filling a castable material into the space between the metallic fittings and the iron shell. CONSTITUTION:Water-cooled wearing plates 1 are used as metallic fittings for the throat of a blast furnace. The fittings 1 are fitted to an iron shell 3 and placed at the inside of the throat. A castable material 7 is filled into the space between the fittings 1 and the shell 3. By this mechanism, the influence of heat in the furnace is reduced by the water cooling of the fittings 1, and since the fittings 1 are directly fitted to the shell 3, the load of brick is reduced.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION At the mouth of a blast furnace, a metal fitting called a wear ring plate is installed to repulse and distribute the charging material that has fallen from the top through a bell or a rotating chute. That is, conventionally, such furnace mouth fittings have been installed through refractories, and as mentioned above, they are designed to protect the furnace wall bricks by repelling the charging material, and the overall effect is The structural relationship is as shown in FIG. 3, in which the above-mentioned furnace mouth hardware 15 is attached below the large bell 11 and movable armor 12 at the top of the furnace.
As shown in FIG. 4, the specific mounting structure is one in which the caster refractories 17 in the steel shell 3 and reinforcing bars 16 are used in the furnace wall bricks 14.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the lifespan of conventional furnace head hardware as described above depends on the wear resistance of the hardware itself as a mechanical property under high temperatures, and the wear and tear or partial falling off of the furnace wall bricks that support the hardware. Determined by sliding down and falling off. That is, the hardware is normally used in an atmosphere of 300 to 500°C, but when there is a malfunction in the furnace such as slippage, it is exposed to hot gas of 600 to 800°C. The physical properties generally deteriorate in an atmosphere of around 500°C than at room temperature, and in particular, hardness and toughness, which affect wear resistance, are halved.

Therefore, it is important to appropriately cool the metal fittings in order to increase their durability, but as mentioned above, it is difficult to provide a cooling effect when the metal fittings are assembled and installed using firebricks or the like.
For this reason, it is necessary to use high-grade materials to withstand high-temperature conditions, and even if the materials are upgraded in this way, cracks and deformation due to mass effects will occur, so each block of hardware is as shown in Figure 5 as well as Figure 4. Therefore, it has no choice but to be small, and it is not possible to use a large block. In addition, since the conventional furnace mouth fittings as described above are constructed by being mounted on the upper brick 14 of the shaft, if the brick 14 is worn out or partially falls off, the fitting structure of the fitting is directly affected. [If not repaired, it will fall off,
This is a major cause of shortening the lifespan of hardware even if it does not wear out. However, replacement and repair work in the above-mentioned cases requires rebuilding not only the hardware but also the structure that connects the surrounding refractories such as bricks and caster materials, which is a large-scale construction work. Moreover, the work must be extremely difficult because it is exposed to the harsh environment inside the furnace mouth.

By using the furnace mouthpiece as a water-cooled wear ring plate, it is possible to effectively provide a cooling effect to the furnace mouthpiece, making it difficult to be affected by the heat inside the furnace, and also to prevent the furnace mouthpiece from being attached to the iron shell. This stabilizes the mounting condition, and as a result, the size of the furnace mouth metal can be made sufficiently large. As mentioned above, since it provides a water cooling effect and is not easily affected by heat, the material of the metal fittings can be freely selected, and since the metal fittings are larger and have fewer joints, it is possible to form the furnace mouth fittings at low cost, and it is easy to install. Replacement of parts due to local wear or wear can be easily delayed by cutting only the necessary parts of the iron skin. Since the furnace mouth metal fittings are attached to the iron shell, there is almost no load on the lower bricks of the furnace mouth metal fittings, such as the upper bricks of the shaft.

Embodiment A concrete embodiment of the present invention as described above is as shown in FIG. It is supported by a locking part 8 formed on the inner surface of the steel shell 3 that makes up the machine. Install hardware 1
, 1 connected to each other and arranged vertically in multiple stages, the lower stage side of the series is connected to a water supply ring 5 provided surrounding the furnace body, and the upper stage thereof. A drain pipe 6 is connected to the side. Furthermore, a caster material T is filled between the steel shell 3 and the metal fittings 1 to integrally connect the whole body, and a gas sealing material 18 is applied to the lead-out pipe from the steel shell 3 to prevent the inside of the furnace from entering. Prevents gas leakage.

Note that the uppermost metal fitting 1 is fixedly engaged with a horizontal member 21 provided at the upper end of the iron skin 3, and the lowermost metal fitting is engaged with and attached to a horizontal member 22 on the upper brick 4 of the shaft. There is. As can be seen from the comparison with Fig. 4.5, each hardware 1 is several times larger than the one of the present invention as described above, and there are two such large hardware 1. The mounting structure by the part 8 and the locking part 9 and the connection structure by the connecting pipe 2 are simplified, and their design and construction are facilitated. The connecting pipe 2 for water cooling and the like can be properly housed in the space around the furnace as shown in the figure, so there is no need to expand the deck, and the workability is not hindered.

"Effects of the Invention" The present invention as described above uses the hardware 1 as a water-cooled wear ring plate to receive a water-cooling effect,
The thermal influence inside the furnace is greatly reduced and its mechanical properties are improved, thereby increasing the durability of the hardware 1. Furthermore, the material can be freely selected and high-grade materials are not required, so equipment costs can be reduced. Furthermore, as a result, the hardware 1 can be made larger and the uneven wear of the hardware connection parts (corresponding to joints) can be reduced, and the hardware 1 can be made of iron skin regardless of the bricks on the upper part of the shaft. 3, the weight of the hardware 1 and the acting force of the impact repulsion of the charged raw materials are not transmitted to the brickwork layer, reducing the load on the bricks, and in the unlikely event that the lower brick falls off or is worn out. This is an industrially highly effective invention as the metal fittings 1 will not fall off and the installation and replacement work of the metal fittings can be easily carried out from the outside by opening the safe part of the iron skin 3. be.
