Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy plate for a can cover having superior feathering properties by chromating as surface treatment by specifying the weight concn. ratio of hydrofluoric acid to chromic acid in a treating bath and roughening the surface of a film under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:When an Al alloy plate for a can cover is subjected to chromating as surface treatment, a treating bath having 0.28-0.7wt concn. ratio of hydrofluoric acid to chromic acid is used, and treatment is carried out so that a film has eight or more pits of 0.1-1mu maximum diameter per a 4mu square. Thus, the feathering properties are improved and the adhesion of a paint film is increased.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for an aluminum alloy plate for can lids that has excellent anti-aging properties. [Shubei Fujutsu 1 Aluminum and aluminum alloys have excellent formability, corrosion resistance, and ease of opening, so they are widely used as can lid materials for Eno Open. Aluminum and aluminum alloy lid materials are Generally, an Al-Mg alloy plate containing 5.0 wt% of Mg2.O is used, and is treated with phosphoric acid chromate and coated with -C to maintain the flavor of the contents and prevent corrosion of the lid material due to the contents. However, if the adhesion of the coating film is insufficient at this time, when the lid is opened, a residue of the coating film on the inner surface of the lid, called feathering, will occur at the opening, which poses a practical problem. This phenomenon is noticeable when applying a thick film coating to the inner surface of the lid.The 11m1 coating on the inner surface of the lid is usually coated with a thickness of 2 to 5 μm on the board before processing, and after forming. , repair painting is performed, but in order to omit spraying after this forming process, a thick film of 9 to 14 μm is sometimes applied to the board before processing. It is generally called a non-repair coating and has excellent workability and corrosion resistance. The surface treatment is phosphoric acid chromate treatment.A typical example of this phosphoric acid chromate treatment bath is Crys O, 5wt%, HIP 04 1,
5w1%, HF O, Oht%, Cry of HF
An aqueous solution with a weight concentration ratio of 0.16 to , is used,
Although spraying is carried out using a 7 ohm coil, the feathering properties are not always satisfactory. [Problems to be solved by the invention, α1 The present invention has been made in view of the current situation, and particularly provides a surface treatment method for an aluminum alloy plate for can lids that has excellent 7. edging properties. It is something. Means for Solving Problems J The features of the method for surface treatment of an aluminum alloy plate for can lids having excellent 7 ethering properties according to the present invention are that when performing phosphoric acid chromate treatment as the surface treatment of the aluminum lid material, The weight concentration ratio of hydrofluoric acid to chromic acid was set to 0.2.
8-0. ) using a treatment bath with a maximum diameter of 0.1 to 1.0μ.
The purpose of processing is to have 8 or more pits in a 4μ square. The method for surface treatment of an aluminum alloy plate for can lids with excellent feathering properties according to the present invention will be described in detail below. First, in the method for surface treatment of an aluminum alloy plate for can lids having excellent feathering properties according to the present invention, the weight concentration ratio of hydrofluoric acid to chromic acid is set to 0.28□ to 0.7. Generally, HF promotes the formation of a film during phosphoric acid amate treatment, but as a result of intensive research into improving the feathering properties of phosphoric acid chromate treated materials, the present inventors found that
HF is applied to the film in an amount of 0.1 to 1. It has been found that this has the effect of generating minute pits of θμ, which increases the adhesion of the coating film and improves the feathering properties. The effect is 'Cs''-(r)h', and for 6''''',
The weight concentration ratio of hydrofluoric acid to chromic acid is 0.28 to 0.
7. If this ratio is less than 0.28, the formation of pits in the film will be insufficient and the desired effect will not be achieved.
Moreover, if it exceeds 0.7, the film will become non-uniform and the corrosion resistance will be extremely reduced. Then, according to the knowledge of the present inventors, in order to improve the 'fI adhesion of the coating film, a micro bit of Q, 1 to 1.0 # was added to the coating film by 4 μm.
By having 8 or more of them in the corner, the 7 ethering property can be improved and the adhesion of the coating film can be increased. [Example 1] An example of the surface treatment method for an aluminum alloy plate for can lids with excellent 7-erasing properties according to the present invention will be described. Example: Using an aluminum alloy plate with a Mg content of 47.5 wL% and a thickness of 0.32 mm, lu9 etching was performed in an alkaline etching bath (0.2 N NaOH at 70°C x 4 seconds). , after treatment with the phosphoric acid chromate treatment tower shown in Table 1, 1 ml of vinyl chloride organosol paint
The coating was applied to a thickness of 3μ, and the baking conditions were such that the material reached a temperature of 260°C and the baking time was 36 seconds. According to the survey results of feathering properties shown in Table 1, the surface treatment method of the aluminum alloy plate for can lids with excellent feathering properties according to the present invention is 7.
It is clear that the ethering properties are significantly superior. FIG. 1(a) is a micrograph showing the surface structure of an aluminum alloy plate obtained in Example 1 of the method for surface treatment of an aluminum alloy plate for can lids with excellent ethering properties according to the present invention. Figure (b) is a micrograph showing the surface structure of the aluminum alloy plate of Comparative Example 1. Effects of the Invention 1 As explained above, the method for surface treatment of an aluminum alloy plate for can lids having excellent 7. The plate has excellent moldability, corrosion resistance, and lid-opening properties, and is also extremely excellent in feathering properties, and has the effect that it can be widely used as an easy-open lid material.
