にスロツトル弁を有するスロツトルボデーと、前
記吸気通路のスロツトル弁をバイパスする流入口
および流出口を有するハウジングと、前記ハウジ
ング内に設けられた弁孔と、前記ハウジング内に
上記流入口、弁孔、流出口を結ぶ流路から離れて
位置付けられ、エンジンの温度変化に応じて出力
ロツドを伸縮可能な熱応動形シリンダと、前記シ
リンダのシリンダ筒外面に基端側が前記出力ロツ
ドを収容して摺動自在に嵌合され、出力ロツドの
伸縮に伴つて往復動される弁棒と、前記弁棒の先
端に設けられ、上記弁孔を開閉する弁体とを具備
したエンジンの補助空気供給装置において、前記
ハウジングは前記スロツトルボデー成形時、前記
スロツトルボデーと一体に成形されると共に、前
記弁体の設けられる側の前記ハウジングの一端は
前記吸気通路および流入口もしくは流出口が形成
される部分と共に開口し、この開口部分には前記
吸気通路と連動する上流管もしくは下流管が接続
されていることを特徴とするエンジンの補助空気
