Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to read easily the result of the printing and contrive to reduce the space of the printing machine setting place and to improve the controllability, by a method wherein a printing head is arranged at the back side against a printing paper, and the printing paper is placed at the front. CONSTITUTION:The printing paper 4 is arranged at the front side of the printing machine, and the printing head 1 is arranged at the back side of the printing paper 4, and a platen 2 and an ink ribbon 3 are placed at the front side of the printing machine. Since a printing letter is printed with the reversed composition of its right and left position as comparing to the conventional printer, it is accessible to a window part 5 of the front of the printing machine and it is easy to see the result of the printing. The front part of the printing machine is made to the construction to open and shut, and the printing paper 4 is placed at the under-part to the printing machine, and is made to the system of setting in the vertical direction. Herewith, all operation can be performed at the front side.

In conventional printing machines, the print head is placed on the front side of the printing machine, and the printed results are located almost in the center of the printing machine, so it is necessary to look closely to see the printed content. Furthermore, since the print head is located at the front, as shown in Figure 1, it is necessary to take up space for the printing paper of the printing machine, and accordingly, no consideration has been given to the operability of setting the paper.

Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a conventional dot type printing press. Figure 2 illustrates the arrangement relationship between the printing paper and the print head according to the present invention, and Figure 3 is an explanatory diagram of the printing paper setting method. In the conventional product shown in Figure 1, the print head 1 was placed on the front side of the printing machine to print on the printing paper 4.

On the other hand, in the present invention shown in FIG. 2, the printing paper 4 is placed on the front side of the printing machine, and the print head 1 is arranged on the back side of the printing paper 4. Along with this, the platen 2 and ink ribbon 3 were also placed on the front side of the printing press. The printed characters are printed with the left and right sides reversed compared to conventional products. This made it possible to view the printed results close to the window 5 on the front of the printing machine, making it easier to see them visually. In conjunction with the implementation of the method shown in Figure 2, a structure was adopted in which the front part of the printing press was opened and closed as shown in Figure 3, and the printing paper 4 was placed at the bottom of the printing press and set in a vertical direction. This eliminates the need for a place to store printing paper, which was conventionally kept at the rear of the printing machine, and also eliminates the need to go to the rear of the printing machine to set printing paper (all operations can now be performed from the front).
