動油ポンプの本体を着脱可能に取付け、該作動油
ポンプの入力軸に連結される作動油ポンプ駆動ギ
ヤを前記ギヤトレーンに対し、アイドルギヤを介
して噛合連動させてなる内燃機関において、前記
作動油ポンプ駆動ギヤを軸承するブラケツトを前
記ギヤケースと別体に形成し、該ブラケツトを前
記ギヤケースの作動油ポンプ取付位置に穿設した
ブラケツト取付孔に対して嵌脱可能に取付け、該
ブラケツト取付孔の内径を少くとも前記作動油ポ
ンプ駆動ギヤおよびアイドルギヤの外径より大き
く設定すると共に、前記アイドルギヤの支軸を前
記ギヤケース外部より挿脱可能な構成としたこと
