マイクロ波空胴内に配設された無電極ランプに印
加するとともに、マイクロ波空胴の外部に設けら
れた始動補助ランプから無電極ランプに紫外線を
照射し、無電極ランプを放電発光させるようにし
たマイクロ波放電光源装置において、始動補助ラ
ンプをマグネトロンの動作開始前あるいはマグネ
トロンの動作開始と同時に点灯するとともに、マ
グネトロンの動作開始後に始動補助ランプを消灯
するようにしたことを特徴とするマイクロ波放電
光源装置。 (2) マグネトロンの動作開始後所定時間内に始
動補助ランプを消灯するようにしたことを特徴と
する実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載のマイク
ロ波放電光源装置。 (3) マグネトロンの動作開始後無電極ランプの
点灯状態を検知して始動補助ランプを消灯するよ
うにしたことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
