Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a continuous tack weld bead free from irregularity of height by tack welding places of welding other than places where spot welding is made to the same height with spot welded part. CONSTITUTION:The spot welded parts 6 are formed by making spot welding at proper interval in places of welding of a base metal 1 while making correction of unevenness of the base metal 1 and adjusting of groove. Then, tack welding of places of welding is made while feeding a wire 7 from a wire feeding device. Tack welding is made controlling wire feeding of the wire feeding device to enable to weld to the same height with that of spot welded parts 6 at places of welding other than spot welded parts 6. When tack welding is made, and the wire 7 arrives at spot welded parts 6, wire feeding is stopped to stop tack welding. When the wire 7 passed the spot welded parts, tack welding is made again controlling wire feeding.

Conventionally, tack welding in shipbuilding and the like has been carried out by tack welding, in which welding points 2 of base metal 1 are welded to intermittent welds 3 at short intervals of about 50 mm, for example, every 300 mm, as shown in Fig. 2. It is. In addition to the tack welding that is carried out in this way, as shown in Figure 6, when a gap is created in the groove 4, a sealing bead 5 is placed to prevent the melt from the main welding from falling from the gap in the groove. is being carried out.

Conventional tack welding is performed intermittently as described above, so if the groove precision is poor and a gap occurs in the groove 4, the groove 4
After placing the sealing bead 5 in the gap, it was necessary to carry out main welding, which required a large number of welding man-hours.

Furthermore, if main welding is performed with intermittent tack welding or with a sealing bead placed after intermittent tack welding, the penetration depth will be different from the area where the tack weld or sealing bead was placed and other welding areas. This caused discontinuities in the welding process, causing welding defects.

The continuous tack welding method of the present invention performs spot welding while correcting the misalignment of the base metal, and then uses a welding device equipped with a wire feeding device. In this method, tack welding is performed by stopping the wire feeding and controlling the wire feeding of the wire feeding device so that the welding is performed at the same height as the spot welding area other than the spot welding area.

This invention temporarily fixes the welded parts of the base material whose seams have been corrected by first performing spot welding, and then welds other than the welded parts where spot welding is performed. By performing tack welding at the same height as the height of the tack weld, a continuous tack weld bead with no unevenness is formed.

FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically showing an embodiment of the present invention, in which 1 is a base material, and 6 is a spot welded portion made at a welding location of the base material 1. In FIG. The spot welds 6 are formed by correcting the misalignment of the base metal 1 and aligning the grooves, and then spot welding is performed at appropriate intervals, for example, every 600 mm, at welding locations on the base metal 1.

After performing this spot welding, tack welding is performed at the welding location while feeding the wire 7 from the wire feeding device of the welding device. Tack welding is performed by controlling the wire feeding of the wire feeding device so that welding can be performed at the same height as the spot welding portion 6 at welding locations other than spot welding VA6. The wire feeding control of the wire feeding device is performed by constant arc length control.

As described above, this invention performs spot welding while passing through the base metal at different intervals, and then performs tack welding in accordance with the height of the spot weld, so that the tack weld bead is continuous at a constant height. Therefore, when performing main welding, the melt does not drop, the penetration depth is stable, and welding defects can be prevented. Furthermore, when performing main welding, it is possible to perform main welding mechanically by following the weld line.
