ダー、４：原稿あるいは紙、５：補助電極、６：
抵抗、７：補助電極切替えスイツチ、８：タイオ
ード、１０：電源。

Claims (1)
- 複数の電極をそれぞれエンコーダーに接続し、
該電極の各々に通常接触する導電性ブラシを設け
ることにより、電極と導電性ブラシとの間を通過
する原稿の有無によつて電極の電位が変化するこ
とを利用して原稿のサイドエツジを検出する装置
において、前記電極を均等に複数のグループに分
割しさらに電極のグループの数に対応する数に前
記導電性ブラシを分割すると共に、それぞれのグ
ループの対応する位置にある電極を連続し、又そ
れぞれのブループに対して１個の補助電極を前記
分割した導電性ブラシを介して前記電極に電気的
に接触するように設け、各補助電極を選択的に接
地するかあるいは電源に接続するスイツチ手段を
設け、前記スイツチ手段を順次開閉するように構
成したことを特徴とする原稿サイドエツジ検出装
置。
