二重にし、二重の扁平部の間であつて、巾方向中
間部に所定枚数の板状無機シール材をはさみ、全
面を密着して網状基体となし、該基体の前記シー
ル材をはさんだ部分において該基体巾方向に少な
くとも1以上の波が長さ方向に連続し且つ他の基
体部分において長さ方向に対して斜行する波付加
工を施した単一型触媒排気ガス浄化装置における
シール兼用クツシヨン体。 (2) 前記板状無機シール材として、筒状にメリ
ヤス編する金属細線に石綿もしくは石綿繊維をは
らませて編み込んで、断面方向に圧着して板状と
なしたものを用いたことを特徴とする実用新案登
録請求の範囲第1項記載の単一型触媒排気ガス浄
化装置におけるシール兼用クツシヨン体。 (3) 前記網状基体として、金属細線よりなる編
物体もしくは織物体である筒体の断面方向を扁平
にして二重となしたものを利用してなることを特
徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項または第
2項記載の単一型触媒排気ガス浄化装置における
