Claims (1)
路５を通じて燃料噴射ポンプ２に連通して燃料供
給系統４を構成し、燃料供給系統４に燃料切れ検
出器１８を設け、燃料切れ検出器１８の検出作動
に基づき、エンジン停止装置Ｓを作動させてエン
ジンを停止させることほより、空気を燃料噴射ポ
ンプに侵入させないように構成したエンジンの燃
料噴射ポンプへの空気侵入防止装置において、燃
料供給路５中に燃料溜め９を設け、燃料溜め９の
燃料入口１４よりもその燃料出口１９を低く位置
させ、燃料溜め９内に燃料切れ検出器１８を燃例
出口１９よりも高く位置させて設け、燃料タンク
１内の底部に燃料切れ予告検出器１７を設け、燃
料タンク１内の燃料切れ予告検出器１７が燃料溜
め９内の燃料切れ検出器１８よりも早く検出作動
するように設定し、燃料タンク１内の燃料切れ予
告検出器１７が検出作動する事に基づき、燃料切
れ予告警報器２８を警報作動させるように構成し
、さらに燃料溜め９内の燃料切れ検出器１８が検
出作動する事に基づき、エンジン停止装置Ｓをエ
ンジン停止作動させるように構成した事を特徴と
するエンジンの燃料噴射ポンプへの空気侵入防止
