Claims

a box-shaped ashtray; a retainer for holding the ashtray in a removable manner; one end fixed to the inner part of the ashtray and the other end free; the front end of the retainer is biased upward when the ashtray is pulled out; a protector that is pushed up to cover the ashtray; a guide that is provided on the inner surface of the upper part of the retainer and slides into contact with the protector when the ashtray is pulled out while holding down the protector; and a lamp that is attached to the retainer and illuminates the inside of the ashtray. An automobile ashtray device comprising a case for storing the ashtray, and a stopper attached to the retainer and stopping the pulling out operation of the ashtray by coming into contact with a protrusion provided on the protector when the ashtray is pulled out. An automobile ashtray device characterized in that a stopper is integrally formed.
