クルの凝縮器との間で熱交換するカスケードコン
デンサによつて、高温側冷凍サイクルと低温側冷
凍サイクルとを結合した二元冷凍装置において、
低温側冷凍サイクルの蒸発器を前記カスケードコ
ンデンサより下方に位置せしめると共に、低温側
冷凍サイクルの圧縮機の吸入管と吐出管及び減圧
器への冷媒流入管と冷媒流出管を夫々、短絡結合
する圧縮機バイパス管及び減圧器バイパス管を設
け、切換弁を切換えることにより、低温側圧縮機
、凝縮器、減圧器、蒸発器を循環結合した冷凍サ
イクルか又は低温側凝縮器と蒸発器とを前記両バ
イパス管で循環結合した短絡冷凍サイクルのいづ
れかを選択できるようにしたことを特徴とする二
