動可能に且つ液密に嵌入されてシリンダデーの端
壁との間にシリンダボデーに形成された吐出ポー
トに連通する圧力室を形成するピストンと、前記
圧力室をリザーバと連通させるため前記シリンダ
ボデーに形成されてシリンダボデーの端壁内面中
心部に開口する連通孔と、前記圧力室内に配置さ
れて前記ピストンの作動に連動して前記連通孔を
塞ぐ弁とを備え、この弁が、前記シリンダボデー
の端壁内面に接触・離脱するゴム製の環状シール
部材と、この環状シール部材の内径側フランジを
自己の弾性力にて嵌着する環状溝をその一端部外
周に有し且つその他端で前記ピストンに所定量軸
方向へ摺動可能に連結されたコネクテイングロツ
ドと、このコネクテイングロツドを前記シリンダ
ボデー端壁内面に向けて付勢するスプリングとで
構成されたマスタシリンダにおいて、前記コネク
テイングロツドの一端に、前記シリンダボデー端
壁の前記連通孔内に延在して前記環状シール部材
が前記圧力室の圧力によつて前記連通孔内に押し
込まれるのを邪魔させる突起を設けたマスタシリ
