気系統にヒータ８と触媒９とを設け、エンジンＥ
の燃焼室から排出された排気ガスをヒータ８で加
熱してから触媒９に接触させることにより、排気
ガス中の未燃分を燃焼処理するように構成したエ
ンジン発電機の触媒式排気ガス処理装置において
、前記発電機Ｇの出力回路２３にヒータ８を接続
し、ヒータ８をオン・オフさせるスイツチ２０を
出力回路２３の負荷検出回路２１に制御可能に接
続し、負荷検出回路２１は無負荷ないし軽負荷を
検出することに基づき、スイツチ２０をオンさせ
てヒータ８を発熱作動させるとともに、中負荷な
いし高負荷を検出することに基づきスイツチ２０
をオフさせてヒータ８の発熱作動を停止させるよ
うに構成したことを特徴とするエンジン発電機の
