タンクを有するコンデンサと、上記冷媒タンクと

供給ポンプとを含み、所定量の冷媒を封入した状
態で密閉された冷媒循環系を備える内燃機関の沸
騰冷却装置において、上記ウオータジヤケツト内
の液相冷媒の液面を検出する第1液面検出手段と
、上記冷媒タンク内の液相冷媒の液面を検出する
第2液面検出手段と、上記第1液面検出手段によ
り検出される上記ウオータジヤケツト内の液面が
所定レベル以下のときに上記冷媒供給ポンプを駆
動するポンプ制御手段と、上記ポンプ制御手段に
よる上記冷媒供給ポンプの駆動が停止された時点
で上記第2液面検出手段により検出される上記冷
媒タンク内の液面が所定レベル以上であるか否か
を判定し所定レベル以上であるとの判定が所定回
連続したときに封入冷媒の過多を検出する封入量
過多検出手段と、この過多検出時に上記冷媒循環
系から液相冷媒の一部を排出する冷媒排出手段と
を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関の沸騰冷却装
